if you include the cup games its 17 unbeaten, and we have managed at least 1 goal in each game. this season will not be matched. a lot has been said for breaking Middlemass and, hopefully next week, Simpsons unbeaten run but those teams never managed to score in every game on their respective unbeaten runs.

I know we argue differently but we did lose to Derby so I'm sure official records wouldn't show us as unbeaten for 17 games however much we like to think we are.

We also lost to Liverpool but nobody ever mentions that when talking about it.

how can you lose a game when over 90mins + extra time we werent beaten? i know, decide who goes through by taking 5 pens each. that should decide who goes through surely......even then it took 27 pens, not 10, for the tie to be decided!

Because Derby scored more than we did. Do you still claim we didnt lose to Birmingham at wembley or perhaps that we never really beat Aldershot so it was unfair that we got to play Stevenage at Stoke?

FFS we've got a good team for the first time in years. Doesn't matter if we count cups or not we are 13 unbeaten in the league and winning games now instead of drawing.

We had a difficult start and on paper have some easier games coming up! So instead of bickering over Derby enjoy watching a good team for this level as we've all done enough twining watching shit the past few years.

There's a lot of tat in this league. Morecambe was easy.

I think we can deal with the hoof ball teams of Stevenage,Yeovil and Newport this season so there's no one to fear. Baring injuries, suspension we should finish in the top 3 easily Curles assembled a very good team here.

Some might say the board have to take some credit. They sourced a good coach despite the reservations of a lot of fans and have backed him financially in the recruitment of some very decent players. This despite the fans not turning up in any great numbers at BP (Saturday apart).

Who's to say where we'd be if Mr Lapping and those local 'Businessmen' had taken over.

Not me saying that like obviously!

Who knows nobby where we'd be?

Well done by the way on your mention on Talksport radio on Saturday morning. I never knew you were such a font of knowledge on ex- Yeovil and Bury players.

Their evil plan totally backfired. Employ a alcoholic manager whos failed at his last 3 clubs. How could our plan of dissapearing into non league obscurity fail?. I also wonder if our wage bill is actually any higher now Keith has weeded out all the daft contracts.

I think this years budget is at the most no more than last years hence to get the standard of player he wants Curle has had to decide to operate with a squad 3 or 4 less in number than last season.

And if you remember all last season he claimed that he had funds available if they were needed this year hes having to move players out on loan to free up the finds to bring anyone else in.

Which is a bit strange considering the 650k money that came in last year that hadnt been budgeted for

A good thing Nixon and Co took a chance on Curle's 45% win record and going 22 away games unbeaten at Notts County - what a failure!

No one will ever know but one things for sure i'm making the most of this Great run we are on and hope it produces the sucess we all want because we all know Its just a matter of time before we will be back to shit on a stick football played at the foot of the football league with the three unambitous dullards running the show.
