Totally agree. You'd think he couldn't go there out of respect for Wimbledon!
KC has never had a better chance of promotion & his CV isn't that great on paper. I hope/think he needs two great seasons with us maybe then he could, potentially, go to a good championship club.

Or stick with us and take us all the way to the championship KC...please!!

I doubt he'd be worried by abuse from a tiny fanbase like W'don. This is business.

MK Dons are a bigger club than us in a higher division with a good budget, supportive chairman (Robinson was given an age to get them up and wasn't even sacked when he failed in championship), modern stadium and it's close to London which has to help with player recruitment.

Believe me, they do! Like I said, you must've heard of a slow news day. MK Dons are without a manager at the moment so are an opportunity to fill column inches on a slow day. Curle's name could easily have cropped up simply for no other reason as Carlisle are doing well.

A lot of agents do it to promote their clients - gives the reporter easy copy, gives their client some good headlines and promotes their name.

I know what he means Merseyside and he's totally wrong. They do sometimes pluck names out of mid-air. There doesn't have to be any name touting to have gone on for them to run a story, it can be much like a conversation folk have on here amongst a paper's journalists. I'm not saying this is the case is this instance but it definitely does happen within papers. The lack of quotes or even mention of sources is normally a bit of a giveaway in this article though!

I think they're gonna be dissapointed. I looked at the list, Not sure who Paul Mitchel is but i cant see any on that list that i could see going there. Chris Powell wouldn't be a bad appointment but he has a decent job at Derby.
