Made me think - what was the highest scoring draw we've been involved in over recent years - Without googling it I seem to remember a 3-3 draw at B.P sometime over the last few seasons.

Was there not a 4-4 in recent seasons?

Yeah your right - v AFC Wimbledon a couple of seasons back. It was the Hartlepool game i was thinking of.

There was a 4-4 last season at home to Cambridge. It was when we played that mad 3-3-4 formation. Ibehre got a hat trick, Luke Joyce had a stinker.

Weren't we beating Wimbledon three or four one and collapsed at the end.

Memory is hazy but Thirlwell was manager and Gillies scored a screamer - it sounds like a bizarre dream scenario.

These are very uncertain times for Torquay United, had massive funding problems for 2 or 3 years now, recently taken over by new "dubious" owners.

Their big-backer who "lost" around 3 million propping up the Club over the past few years has jumped ship (understandably) and they have (to a larger or lesser extent, depending on who you believe) been thrown to the wolves.

They are a proud local Club, serving the area for over 100 years and richly deserve proper backing, what happens in the foreseeable future doesn't look good.

There are lots of similarities with our Club - we need the new investment and the new backers sooner rather than later lest we be the next Club to fall into deep poo poo.

Especially now as due to our brilliant on-field exploits this season we are a very saleable commodity.
