strong talk in Ireland last week that Robbie Keane was signing with Preston, cant see them going for Wyke also if that happened.

Preston also signed 2 lads from the Irish league, Horgan and Boyle. Both rumoured to be on 6k a week. If Wyke gets an offer of 6k a week he'd surely be gone, probably 4 times what he's currently on. Best scenario for us is we hold on to him till summer, if we get promoted he gets a decent payrise. if we dont get promoted he'll be sold.

That is of course if Curle could keep Andrews hands off it. Mind you that lad from Germany that Bradford are looking at might not be a bad bet and be good to nick one from under Abbotts nose

Regarding his link with Preston I posted, I only put on here what I was told by a reliable source who has been correct regarding other things on numerous occasions, some of which I cannot post on here for reasons beyond my control. I have also posted on other threads that I do not believe Wyke is anywhere near good enough at the moment to head to Preston. I do hope he stays but fear he won't, as many footballers are very fickle and as soon as they see the pound signs that's enough for them.
