How much would you value him at and be happy with the amount we get?

Id say £400,000 - Middlesbrough will have a 20% sell on clause so Id be happy if we sold him for £500,000

Being serious you're right that if he did get another 10 plus goals we'd easily get double for him in the summer.

goal scorers bad to find,when was last time we had a player on 17 goals so far in middle of a season,we know he/s not championship player,but he/s worth lot more than bradford offerd ,it would nice to tell them where to go :

If hes worth a lot more than £250k how are we supposed to bring a replacement in for the best part of nowt?

Kemar Roofe went to Leeds for £3m after being League Two player of the year - think he scored about 18 in the season.

Wyke may not be at the same level as a player but his age and stats are broadly similar.

If we weren't forced to sell by a release clause or anything and there's more than one club interested then why not ask for £750k or more

Who's to say whether he can cut it at a higher level, that's for bidding clubs to take a punt on. In terms of his age and his scoring form he's at peak value for the level he's playing at at the moment.

Look at what happened to Jabo he was flying then along came the floods and the illness in the family and hes not been the same player since

I think a lot of it is in the head you get 4 or 5 pretty quickly and you go on the pitch thinking youre going to score every game so you do conversely one a dry patch starts you start thinking where the hell am i going to get the next one from.

Thats why i think you should put two players together and let them hunt as pair that way you double your chances that one of them will be doing the business.

There was once a bloke played for Swindon who scored a load of goals in a season. Name escapes me now though

His real value is in the sell on agreement a good chance Bradford could be in Championship in next couple of years some Championship clubs are already paying upwards of 10 million for strikers,ig he progresses like a few of our past strikers he could be worth a tidy windfall in future..to be fair not many better aerial strikers in lower leagues at the moment

If he goes for 250k he's only worth that, and there is definitely a release clause.

Not the finished article by any stretch, needs to work on his first touch but he's still young and he probably hasn't even finished filling out yet as players of his ilk tend to develop later on.

Having said that if we were to lose our top scorer for 350K or less I'd be hugely disappointed but not surprised one bit as we have form. It's just typical Carlisle really.

We paid Boro 20k for Wyke 2 years ago.

I'd say he's now worth about 20 times that.

Not sure Wyke is that level mind.

it's no coincidence that he's scored so many this season in a team with Adams, therefore in my opinion he's worth much more in a team with him, whether he's quite so prolific in a team without Adams remains to be seen!

Adams is our best player by a mile. Im really suprised that Northampton released him and no one has bid for him this January. How many assists does he have?? Must by the highest in League 2

His true vale is what his release clause is set at unfortunately...

If we could nab ourselves a poacher style player, doesn't have to be the best in the world, then Adams would make him look like a superstar.

Adams is a big part of the reason that Wyke is worth the reported 250k so there is no reason why we couldn't pull that trick off again.

The one good thing the Oystons have ever done in the 10 years leading up to the PL season they refused to deal with agents players knew it and simply didnt take their agents along.

Didnt stop them signing hundreds of players in that time that were good enough to get them to the PL
