TOPIC: John O'Sullivan

Being reported on Twitter by Alan Nixon journo for the Mirror that O'Sullivan is about to sign having been released by Blackburn. Probably something in this as he's usually spot on, he tweeted about our interest in Shaun Miller in the summer before he signed.

Another midfielder? Left back, central defence and a striker is required more urgently that a midfielder.

Really Good Player but he's a Midfielder not what we need at the moment

Winger, Need something more than Adams as an attacking threat.

Left back a must, then after that we're relying on what happens with Wyke to see what we need.

He's just started following Carlisle United

Kennedy out for while, O'Sullivan is an attacking midfielder/ winger (where Kennedy played pre Jones injury).

Jones is now pretty much back, can see O'Sullivan (if it's true) coming in to RW. Jones back with Joyce, Liddle back to CB.

I do think we'll sign a left back as well. Curle can't possibly think Gilleshey is the answer there, otherwise he wouldn't have tried that Tom Miller experiment a couple of weeks ago.

O'Sullivan will be a good signing imo. Might not be the position we're in most desperate need of but he's available so we'd be silly not to get him when we can.

The signing of O'Sullivan tells me that Curle sees Liddle as a CB. That'll be Joyce, Jones, McKee, O'Sullivan and Kennedy (plus Devitt to an extent) in CM.

Letting Ellis go must mean he sees Liddle as a CB now.

Be a good signing as we need another creative midfielder to help Adams, he is a good player and always impressed me when I've seen him. Liddle as a CB works for me - Could forge a very good partnership with Raynes. However we still need left back and a replacement for Charlie. I think we need refreshing and the signing of JOS will certainly be a good start.

Liddle Raynes has got off to a good start, Only troubled yesterday when we done silly things (Concede a pen and Reggie's clearence) and a great free kick beat them at Accrington.

I remember him well when we played Accy Stanley just a couple of seasons ago with Asamoah winning MoM after his goal settled the game. O'Sullivan was the best player on the park by a distance and he's got a bit of fire about him with a fair bit of 'handbags' going on and the Paddock getting involved a few times - not like them really! Half the time most loan players look like they hardly give a toss but he was playing like his life depended on it.

As a side note, none of our match day 18 that day will be selected by Keith any time soon (Grainger injured, Brough out on loan).

I just hope KC has a forward lined up, going the rest of the season with 2 forwards will be tough going.

I.m told the penny has finnally dropped and hes accepted hes not going to be the new George Best and in asking to be released from his contract at BRFC with no firm contract on offer he just wants a clean break to get on with his life and career at what ever level that might turn out to be.But definitely one with future with sell on value and no cut to pay.

Very much a wide winger, Hug the touchline winger from what i remember.

Maybe Tyler Denton on loan from Leeds, would make sense regarding kc's comments about him being needed at the weekend.

Someone mentioned Tyler Denton on twitter earlier.

Not that its a position that i was expecting an addition in but for me an excellent signing someone who not that long ago was being talked of in the £1m bracket and with no sell ons to pay out the potential for a tidy profit to be made.
