Edit to add Jenkins cannot see that he is a major part in the demise of this club despite what good he's done in the past!

If the team get a few good results and people keep turning up then nothing will change.

We appear to be holding our own despite the tinkering, according to Andy Hall's twitter feed.

Sounds like we grew into it after a shaky start. Chesterfield keeper earning praise on their board.

The game itself however.....

Quite impressed first half. Decent link up between Balatana and Hery.c Queen looks good, but needs to get involved more, play tends to be down left and Brough.

Joyce is a clear leader, which we need.

Rigg is struggling, but the balls to him tend to be chest high. Losing the physical battle, which is a shame as I like the lad.

Looking to play out from the back when we can. The paddock don't like this! ;-D couple of dodgy moments from Grainger.

All just my opinion of course, but pretty pleased.

Always good to be back for my annual visit from deepest Dorset.

I apologise for going to the match and lining the powers that bes pockets but it's a very enjoyable game so far. They set off quick but we definitely came back strong towards the end of the half.

Very shaky first 5 minutes or so, could easily have been behind, think they also hit the woodwork. Have more than held our own since then and at times have played some very exciting football. Hery and Balanta are great to watch.

Pretty even first half,lucky not to go a goal down very early on but we finished tge half the stronger wid 2 good Grainger FK's well saved.

Hery pick if the bunch for me although playing slightly deeper than Satder.

Front two struggling and Wyke is in Evatt's pocket. Balanta has looked decent in patches.

Curle criticised again by many on twitter tonight for tinkering, but truth be told we actually appear to have a decent squad this season.

I'm all for giving players a rest, especially with the chance (which there was) of extra time.

Good performance tonight, great play at times. Struggled last 10 minutes and had they not gone down to 10 men I think we may have been beaten, but those 2 extra time goals were superb.

Osei got a lot of shots on target considering how long he was on. Good that he scored.

That was 'WOW'

Thoroughly enjoyed tonight's football.

Some really good attacking play from us and agree with CUFCDeano, we seem to have a good squad.

Wyke looked a bit off form but the introduction of Jabo was great. Hats off to Dicker, my MOTM.

I'm excited for the season ahead.

First time I've listened to a match on the radio in ages and it sounded thoroughly enjoyable.

Really looking forward to Saturday now.

It'd be refreshing for the Curle out brigade to say well done once in a while...

Sampson proved in the summer with the ladies that if you use your SQUAD in the correct way you can achieve a lot!

Well done Curle and also well done Dicker he was good tonight... Ibehre looks a constant threat, McQueen I thought was solid enough as well! Positive things on field!

Jabo, McQueen, Dicker and Osei best of our lot. Knocked it about nicely at times, but thought Chesterfield were poor, and non-existent after the Red.

The 3 at the back should be ok at Home, but think we'll struggle Away when teams come at us.

Grainer did well with the cross for the 2nd, he'd been holding his hamstring a bit prior. Osei's was a beauty...

Into the hat - Watch it be Rotherham away!

Osei looked to be struggling in first half extra time, top effort for his goal.

Enjoyable game with two decent teams going for it from the start. We beat a good side tonight who followed up last season's top 6 finish with an impressive win against much fancied Barnsley on Saturday. Very promising signs for the season ahead.

Although early days tonight confirmed what I thought all summer, Curle wants his team to play football, they knocked the ball about well with nearly every player looking comfortable on the ball and looking to pick a pass. I honestly believe last year was a case of Curle seeing what he had to work with and doing the best he could with what he had, there were too many players last season who weren't comfortable on the ball (especially at the back) so playing a passing game wasn't really an option. This squad is his own now and you can tell he's recruited players who are comfortable on the ball with a view to playing passing football.

The early signs are good. UTB.

Hery was the best in our midfield I thought. His feet are absolutely incredible for our level. Dicker and Balanta also excellent games. Some selection headaches in midfield which is good.

McQueen has also given Curle a decision to make at right back. And again I thought Raynes had a fine game. I honestly don't see why people have decided he's shit.

Rigg looked like a non league player tonight unfortunately. Poor.
