Yes but nothing since and i believe it did say something like "subject to confirmation" didnt it ?

CUOSC didnt mention it in their briefing at the weekend either

Formal notice given to shareholders, nothing about provisional.

No notice of any change given to shareholders since 24 April, therefore its on.

If I knew how to post a picture, i could let you have a copy of the formal notice.

Would be nice if a concerned member at the AGM who is on the supporters side could relay information to us??

Clearly the club are wanting to hide info from News & Star so we can't read about it.

CUOSC - FOR GOD'S SAKE REPRESENT YOUR CLUB SUPPORTERS! THE WAY THE LIFEBLOOD OF THE CLUB ARE TREATED IS DISGRACEFUL. YOU HAVE THE CHANCE INSIDE TO TELL THE FANS WHAT IS HAPPENING.
WHY DO YOU CHOOSE TO RENAGE ON WHY THE TRUST WAS SET UP FOR?

The closing date for a shareholder unable to attend to appoint a proxy was 7pm on Monday, so that route is closed for the N&S;

If we can only spend 55% of 5m plus on players wages where the hell is the other 45% going? Don't tell me concrete terraces are costly to maintain with people jumping on them twice a fortnight! Old boys club who would be tadpoles elsewhere! I have never said anything against the Trust before but what exactly is the point of your existence?

Possibly all of the other general expenses of running a business ?

Non playing staff wages, heating, electricity, water, insurances, business rates, cost of sales etc.

There's a lot more to pay than just playing staff wages.

Deano, the club has massive issues and appears to be heading high speed towards a train crash, yet an AGM is wrapped up in 54mins with everyone including CUOSC appearing to bury their heads in the sand!!!!

Any chance as official CUOSC message board spokesman that you could defend the indefensible?

Heating, electricity, water will be lower at BP than a modern stadium considering the open terraces. Non playing wages - that's where it goes!

Other clubs seem to be fine with a much lower turnover.

The 250 figure was from a few years back and does include stewards who over a year do less than 5 hours a week and whos number has been considerably cut back since that figure I understand the number of equivalent full time positions in financial year was ending June 2016 was just under 100.

Financial modelling on a fan owned club suggests that the jobs of 50% of the non football [ back office ] staff could be done entirely by volunteers or by volunteers who get paid for a match day but not for any work they do in the rest of the week considerably cutting the cost of the "back office" function.

You could be handling the budget of Qatar for all I care, but as you've shown very quickly on this Thread, you have no idea of the number of folk needed to make a Football Club tick over!

Couldn't agree more we need a more professional approach, not sure how you come to a conclusion I'm 'defensive and failing' though?!

200 odd on the payroll - wow more than Sunderland! Im sorry but zero hour contracts for program sellers and random thugs who are your stewards hardly count and along with the crap food and no hot water left contractors who are also not on your books.

I very much doubt there are even 30 full time non playing staff at CUFC.

Of course they count! Yes, they're minor folks, but we wouldn't be a Club without them...

The catering and bar staff shouldn't be counted as they are contracted out.the stewards should be contracted out and not counted and and part time positions should be consolidated into the equivalent number of full time positions.ans i would imagine programme sellers arent employees but agents paid on commission.

I.d say if that was done youd be looking at no more than 30 permanent full time positions

And heres a good idea of what you can achieve at a fan owned club

www.exetercityfc.co.uk/news/2017/june/th...-all-our-volunteers/

A potential saving of 300k off the wage bill with an organised programme of volunteers

It's a great effort. For it to work you need some one near the top to spend a lot of their time organising , some one who has respect for the fans and wants to see them involved.

Unfortunately at Brunton Park, there is a legacy that fans cannot be trusted to give their time and expertise, and if they do prove competent then they will take jobs from permanent staff so must be discouraged.

Exactly what a proper SLO could get on with, in conjunction with a respected Supporters Trust/Club...
