We could possibly take, Ryan Edwards,24 year old centre half. Won player of the year and out of contract at the moment. Kilmarnock & Plymouth linked in the paper today.

And Simon Church.

Non of the out of contract Morecambe players will be signing new contracts until the Takover is complete and assuming it happens i would imagine some of the players will have those offers withdrawn as i believe the offers they have at the minute were only made to protect the clubs position legislatively.

The Bankrupt guy from the North East who took the shares off Lamos was declared the legal owner if Lamos didnt contest it in 14 days he didnt,

So Burndon became the legal owner of G50 who own the majority shareholding in the football club.

He has agreed to sell the shares to the Sheikh who has been funding the club since Lamoses money failed to materialise for 250k who will keep hold of them and fund the club until a sale or something else can be put in place.

He has said that while he funds it it will be at a level well above what it has been for the last 3 seasons in an effort to ensure that the manager doesnt leave.

Some of the other directors are funding a 200k scheme to create a covered concourse and fan zone at the home end

The sale from Burndon who cant be an owner because of his bankruptcy to the sheikh is going thru at the moment and although there are no problems obviously things are on hold a bit till its done

Hope that Helps

Well, despite finishing much further down the table than us their defence conceded 9 fewer goals. Young, big and experienced i'd take him.

He's only 23 so would Morecambe would want some compo? If so that rules that out.

13 yellow cards last season as well. and he's got a bad back.
