I think we'll be up there again.
Midfield looks good if we can keep everybody fit.
With the addition of a couple of decent forwards and centre halves

we shouldn't be too shabby.
I'm gan for 1st.

Based on the second half of the season I think we could struggle somewhere in the bottom eight.

With the squad as it stands, probably scrape in the top half. With a decent striker, and at least 2 more defenders, might make the play offs again.
With the clubs that have been promoted and relegated into L2, will very much doubt if we can improve from this season

We've collapsed after Christmas in both of Curle's full seasons in charge. It was blamed on the floods first time around and then this time on a lack of finances. Others have claimed in recent days that the players didn't receive their bonuses and stopped trying. So for two years now, Curle has gotten away with the blame being pinned on him. If we are really lucky to have him as he suggests then I'd expect some good additions from Dykes' extensive dossier of players and a sustained promotion push. No blaming anything else this time either if/when it comes crashing down.

We need pace in two fullbacks, two good centre backs, a keeper that can read the game and marshal our defence and two centre forwards who can score.
Of course that's like winning the lottery when your run by lunatics and have a slightly unhinged manager, and we've not got the pulling power or the finance to get that shopping list through the door IMHO.
We need as a priority - 2 centre backs, a genuine left back and at least one striker.
Get those players in and we're at worst a playoff spot.
Fail to get those and we're back to strugglers and at best mid-table.
If you can't beat em.... shoot em.

This league to me will be weaker than last year, like said before we need 2 CBs, 2 FBs and two strikers.
We do not need anymore midfielders I think if Jones stats fit and bailey (if he signs) with a a preseason will be good addition . We are strong in the wide positions as well .

At the minute I am not confident by the rate we are signing players I would probably say a downslide on last season to midtable but if we can sign anybody decent we may get in the top three or hopefully not playoffs after what happened this season.

If Jenkins is still here then the position we will finish in will be administration.

It's impossible to predict any team's performance at this stage.
CUFC for example, if we make no signings, we'll struggle, if we make the quality of signings we made last close season, we'll be challenging. Same goes for everyone else as well.

I think next year will depend on how many of the disappointing signings from this year step up, Unless we can get them off the wage bill of course
S.Miller, Brisley, Devitt, Liddle (& Ellis). - These 5 will be on decent money, Can't afford to have any of them sat in the stand on a match day.

The Optimist in me says 1st but the pessimist in me says 24th so I am drawn some where in between the two.

If Proctor was on £4k a week then that should be enough to bring 2 players in. Raynes probably was a mid level earner so there is something there for players. And maybe we'll bring a decent loan player or 2 in this season. Gillesphey got better as the season went on, there must be a couple of decent players out there in the reserves at Premier teams who would come to us

Our chance was probably last season, next season I don`t see us doing that well - mid table - perhaps just short of the play offs.
You`re just jealous cos you can`t hear the voices

He was okay at the start of the year, Him and Raynes had a bit of a partnership going on. Then got a lot worse as the year went on.

Do not and even try to think until you see the team and manager and BOD at start of season.
