A bit more encouraging to say the least.......but with EWM already injecting a substantial loan against the parts of the club they are in the driving seat, so to speak. I would find it impossible to see a get out clause from Nixon, Patty and Jenkins this time.

How would EWM taking over effect the sponsorship ? As would that money be taken into account when factoring turnover or would it be disregarded as a conflict of interest ?

WILL PEOPLE GET IT INTO THEIR THICK HEADS EWM HAVE NO INTENTION OF TAKING OVER THE CLUB THIS WEEK NEXT WEEK OR EVER

They are meeting next week to finalise the details of the EWM sponsorships nothing more nothing less and the big announcement promised by Clibbins is the announcement of the shirt sponsorship nothing more.and you can be sure what he wont be revealing is wether the payment for that will be in cash or in the form of a writedown of the loan despite this being a major factor affecting what the protocol percentage figure will be.not just for next season but assuming t doesnt change the next ten seasons too

Why people take even the slightest notice of what that cu nt says is beyond me. Why ENS and RC dont just say sorry but were not interested in speaking to the monkey send the organ grinder is a mystery to me.

I disagree with you NS due to the mumblings I'm hearing.

I just can't see JN and SP being able to stay with no money, JN and his wife are looking at moving down south.

As for AJ he's not putting in any more money - there's no way they can stay.

EWM will be taking over, just a matter of when but I expect at the start of the clubs financial year July 1st.

Also you call people thick is like the kettle calling the pot black you can't even tell the difference between an apostrophe and a comma . Your a gobshite with never any evidence to back up what you say as you can't provide any. As for you constantly writing in capitals , it's been proven not to attract people's attention and more people ignore it .

NORTHERN SOUL- I am not thick. All I done was report what had been put in the paper, along with little snippets of info I hear, it adds up to something is being discussed at a higher level more than sponsorship.
It might be a shareholding they are discussing, who knows. There is more to this story..

Please go and support Accrington as you clearly love the that little football club. Post on their board. Ive no ontetest onthem or your mate Holt.

Yes you put what was in the paper quotes from Clibbins dont give the tw at the Oxygen because its all shite thats what he gets paid for spreading shite all over Jenkins mushooms shame you cant see that.

If Phillip Day had any intention of owning Carlisle United he would of done it last year and paid for it by a reduction in Tax Liabilities. If he or his company end up owning the club it will be for one reason and one reason alone because Jenkins and co have no way of repaying his loan

There is nothing to the story except Clibbins creating a smokescreen of hope in a desperate attempt to hide yet another season of failure on the pitch and yet another season of desperate financial failure off the pitch its clearly what he gets paid for because he does fu ck all else.

Not sure how you think there will be a deal on a shareholding this week as Jenkins has already ruled out the option of PD buying the " Allen " tranche of shares.

Maybe you should ask your mate Bernard who will be at the meeting representing EWM.

Oh and BTW I.ll post where the fu ck i like I do occasionally post on their board [ as well as a couple of dozen others ] although what the fu ck that has to do with you god knows

I cannot see EWM letting the current lot loose-the debenture over the ground confirms this.

I also heard JN is moving south, leaving the other two.I just cannot imagine this arrangement being an attractive proposition for Day.

The big problem for all of the current stakeholders inc the Trust is they collectively have zero spending power- i.e. no cash other than AJ who has clearly reached his limit. Not a great bargaining position when looking to draw on the facility or increase it.

Change is afoot. If I was the Trust I would be looking to see EWM and agree a way forward-they have a trump card without needing cash.

Sounds a bit fishy though as Nixon would want a pay off that I am not sure he will get so will still be a part owner.

Then moves south, still with his cushy FA role and nearer the FA headquarters no doubt as travelling to Wembley all the time from Carlisle is a bit of a chore.

So NS......you still think/hope that further face to face talks with EWM are only to arrange sponsorship?

They can talk about what the fu ck they like but believe me whatever it was it wont involve a takeover maybe you should message Clibbins and ask him who exactly he met with because from what i hear it might as well have been the EWM bog cleaner and office cat.

I.m pretty sure those quotes from Uncle Bernard were taken straight from a similar statement about the billionaire 6 months ago.

There is only two ways EWM will own the club the first being when they have cleaned Jenkins out and he finally wakes up to what theyre up to or theres a row of big black cars driving down Warwick Road.

Also are owners allowed to sponsor their own club's as if you were I'm sure mike Ashley would have sports direct plastered all over the Newcastle shirts .

If mike ashley plastered sports direct on the shirts none of the retarded inbreds would buy the shirt. This way they still buy the shirts then stand there shouting abuse at him.

They are, as long as it's shown to be meeting market value, just look at Etihad with Manchester City.

Its a loophole the FL are yet to close as Andy Holt explained to me all the money he puts in each year goes in via his Shirt Sponsorship that way every penny [ well 65% ] of it affects their protocol amount in a positive way.

They make up for the loss of an external shirt sponsor by having everything else thats possible to be sponsored done so in a way that other clubs including ours dont seem to be able or inclined to do.The one thing Stanley dont seem to have a shortage of is local firms more than willing to do their bit. And i know Andy gives any company wanting to do business with any of those in the Whatmore group advice as to how positive a little sponsorship at the Crown might be. In all the time Jenkins has owned the club i cant recall any sort of sponsorship from companies who might be trying to get an in at Pioneer.
