The way I read this the BBC has no exclusive or non exclusive rights to live league matches.
Talksport has exclusive rights to 110 matches 92 of which could be Championship matches.

Andy Halls Title is "New Radio Rights deal secured to maximise coverage" but that's not how the details read

So if there will be no Radio Cumbria live match commentary is United Player worth getting and who does the commentary on that?
I've seen a few comments in the past saying it wasn't working during some games.

As much as I love my club, I find listening to away games on the radio utter torture. Im convinced that if when I start listening we're winning, that it's my fault when we feck it up and lose! So, please accept my apologies for all the away defeats grasped from the jaws of victory, they're all down to me! Sorry........

I dont think that this is actually the case as i see it individual clubs can still sell their matches on a one off basis or by the season to anyone they want apart from the games talk sport want as as thats only 18 over the season in total from leagues one and two i doubt just doing the same deal weve done for the last few years where RC reduce what they pay by providing the live commentary element of the United Player of whatever its going to be called next season.will be a problem.

Downside is of course were stuck with fu cking James Philips if thats the case

Ah right so the club can do it's own deal with BBC or CFM etc for the League games.
If that's the case it might have been a good idea to explain that in the article.

Well dont quote me on that Walwyn but thats how i see it as far as how it will work at CUFC after speaking to a contact at Radio Lancashie about it where its slightly different because they dont to the deals on doing the player content.but he says so long as the club and RC can agree a deal moneywise he cant see why anything would change.
