The mods must be out voting - this thread will be shifted to the General Election thread where those with time on their hands will sort through the dross and consider specific issues e.g. GE predictions and then those interested in the replies will sort ..........

p.s. I think Farron will be safe - the "surprises" will come in Scotland and, I hope, Sheffield if Clegg is running again.

The most interesting result for me will be Hartlepool, the old Peter Mandelson constituency. Depending on how the UKIP vote holds, this is potentially a 3-way marginal. To be anything other than Labour would be remarkable.

Always expect the unexpected! Nobody, least of all himself, saw Ed Balls getting dumped out last time, Portillo was a surprise too when he got dumped out. There will be someone, there always seems to be anyway.
