Annoying that ministers are put in positions purely through loyalty and being liked by the PM.

Surely a minister should have some experience or expertise in the field he/she is taking over ?

Gove was a journalist before becoming an MP and since has been Secretary for families, justice and education, now environment. How is he qualified in any way for any of those positions ?

You didn't mention his greatest talent. Stabbing people in the back.

Bringing him back in the fold just shows how distant the tories are from most people. That horrible leech of a man is poison and self serving in whichever role he finds himself in.

Maybe she thought getting him back in the tent would stop him leading a back bench revolt in a couple of months time !

He completely wrecked education, the funding cuts etc have just exacerbated the situation but he was the one who did the real damage to the curriculum. Despicable man with an over inflated opinion of his own worth.

Also agree with the point about the ministers should have some level of expertise in that area. Or at least background interest.

Some of these ministers are journeymen! Moving through departments, 6 month here, a year there. Doesn't do any good for the long term stability or strategy for the country.
