TheCumbrians @DanCUFC Unfortunately reasons out of @CUOSC control. Cheers for feedback though, will pass it on. Think it's good that KC is on-board too.
TheCumbrians @MrHettrick I'll come back to you on that!! Plans have been scuppered, so was considering a few days away in the Bath/Bristol area instead
TheCumbrians @DanCUFC @CUOSC of the current setup with Holdings etc. Other than that, any other opinions of the pack itself. All feedback welcomed.
TheCumbrians @DanCUFC @CUOSC Good spot Dan - definitely just a typo. Most will realise what was meant, and those that don't probably aren't fully aware

TheCumbrians Holiday approved! Any Cornwall based @officialcufc fans wanting a lift to @Only1Argyle next Sat? Might as well fill the car! #CUFC #FACup
TheCumbrians @J4ck_C0u51n Must have been considered 'Serious Foul Play': https://t.co/05YadHMnsA - to me it was a strong, but fair challenge.
TheCumbrians @J4ck_C0u51n ..understand why it wasn't rescinded. One of those that you can analyse all day as a panel and still not agree on.
TheCumbrians @J4ck_C0u51n I've only seen it once admittedly. The incident itself is different to Joyce's though. Joyce wasn't a red for me, but can....
TheCumbrians @J4ck_C0u51n Yes, without a doubt. Penalty and yellow card.
TheCumbrians @J4ck_C0u51n Goalkeeper was always getting there first, imo. I presume the panel agree and that's why it was rescinded.
TheCumbrians @J4ck_C0u51n No such rule as 'last man'. The rule is 'denying a clear goalscoring opportunity'. Coloccini didn't do so.

Sweeney did brilliantly for the first and Asamoah clearly relished being played as an out and out central striker.

Brough did well in the build up for the 2nd too. Gillespie made a decent save low down at 1-1.

It's a shame those highlights didn't show the passing build up to our first goal.
I remember thinking to myself at the time 'awez, we can't keep doing this, there's a mistake coming any second now...'

Hope that performance gives Pat Brough a bit of confidence after a shakey start to the campaign. He robbed their player nicely in the build up for our winner. :)

Asamoah is a useful player to have in the squad, never a lost cause when he's up front.

Some good saves from Gillespie kept us in the game.

Shame the highlights made it look like we hit them twice and sneaked a win.

Just watched them again on youtube and couldn't agree more....seem to have missed:
Grainger Free Kick in First Half
McQueen cross shot onto the bar
Hill clearing off the line from Troy
Smithies smart stop from McQueen's left footed drive (certain that was going in!)

Don't recall Sky Sports News making too much of it either - their focus seemed to be more on the 'near upsets' of their beloved Premiersh*t teams...
Ah well, we won. We know the truth.

Agree - they show their not even near missed. We were the better team on the night with more procession and it could easily have been more. No fluke like these highlights suggest!

Totally agree about Sky, I recorded the news at 1AM for the goals and they didn't even bother showing them. However they did proceed to show Premier Lge teams beating up on L1&L2; sides.

Cup upset and it doesn't even get a mention. Disgrace.

I was still at the bar at the beginning of the 2nd half and was told we had 2 cleared off the line. Would have thought it would have been on the highlights.

I don't suppose anyone fancies recording the extended highlights on united player and posting them somewhere do they?

The extended highlights are as bad as the shorter version in terms of bias towards QPR, don't think it showed us hitting the bar or having one cleared off the line. Made it look like we robbed them again which it sounded like we didn't at all.
