TOPIC: Do we need new signings?

With Dicker, Sweeney, TAH and CMW all available and decent for a tier 4 team, could introducing new players upset team balance and established relationships?

As they know they are listed seems unlikely that it will upset them. More like if he brings in defenders it is an acceptance that the ones we have aren't good enough, Raynes and Grainger would be the most likely casualties I would imagine.
Personally I think our players are good enough as a squad, if he went with a flat back 4 of Brough, CMW, Troy and Miller I think we would stop shipping goals. Still 4 4 and 3 2 every week is good entertainment, I just worry the defence will totally collapse or Jabo will be injured as we are totally dependent on 1 player at the moment to keep us off the bottom of the league

It all depends on the mentality and ability of the incoming player .

Think we need a centre forward to be honest, A bit of competition for Rigg and Asamoah maybe even if its a month loan, just thought Rigg was poor yesterday

My concern is the inability to keep a clean sheet. As long as Jabo keeps going it will cover the weaknesses but if he is suspended or injured not sure we would be able to cope. For me we need a centre back to provide cover and competition as it looks like CMW is not in KCs plans.

Makes sense to buy now whilst we have momentum I think we could do with a winger, center forward maybe a center half but obviously we would have to get a couple off the books too. I think anyone we add has to be better than what we have, making more competition, players raise their game and making the team better.

I imagine we will see one out and one in... probably loans. I'd like to keep some money to spend in January, as it's a crucial time to strengthen.

I can't believe a centre back isn't a priority for everyone. If either Troy or Raynes get injured then we're essentially forced to have two full backs in centre back again. If Raynes got injured then for midweek games we'd have to play three full backs in centre back. This assumes of course that CMW is done here - either way though we should be looking at another good centre half.

Definitely a centre back or even 2. CMW commitment and game management are questionable and Troy is knackered so we are at risk if there are injuries or suspensions.

I don't agree that we are totally reliant on one player to keep us off the bottom of the league. We are scoring goals because of the system not because of the player. Jabo's entire career history shows that he hasn't been prolific but he is benefitting from the tactics being employed and anyone who thinks we should be reverting to a flat back four doesn't appreciate how much more competitive the new formation makes us. 5 men in midfield is the key because we win possession more often in the centre of the pitch and we have width going forward. And 3-5-2 is better than 4-5-1 because the holding striker has more options when trying to find someone to lay the ball off to. How often in the past have we seen us play a lone striker so we aren't able to retain possession and the defence comes under pressure again and again?

Deffo a centre forward you can'rely on one guy to get goals, Remember when we had Hawley and Bridges, And Murray who could'nt hardly get a look in and look where he is now. Oh for good managment skills......

There is always room for improvement even in the best sides, you should always be looking to improve so the answer to the question is yes.
