1 down in today's i crossword goes something like this:

Cruel Latin Side - terrible football team (8, 6)

'Terrible' tells us it's an anagram; it is in no way an accurate description of the mighty Cumbrians.
Last Edit: 31 Aug 2025 11:12 by Brunton. Reason: Annoying autocorrect

Never mind Crosswords a big error in the I- Spy Football Grounds book I saw the other day.

Brunton Park is in and states it is home of The Cumbrians - capacity 16, 385 or summat - ALL SEATER

And their book on I-Spy Landmarks round the Country which I have, :) shows the Citadel for 10 pts but says its The Castle if you will!! :S

if everyone in the paddock and Warwick sat down, it would be an all seater. :)
