Ha ha, I knew there would be some differences of opinion on this one! Davey always impressed me as a player, he was probably the youngest Carlisle captain I can remember (I'm sure he was only 23 at the time), and was also one of the players - along with Darren and Deano - who were already at the club when Tashy Mick rolled into town, so very much earned his place in the successful team that followed. I always thought it was a real shame he did't get to lift the trophy at the end of his last season, and that we ended up with Reevesey fannying about with it instead.
