Haven't a clue what's going on at the club, but I think all we deserve is honesty.

But went into it, looked through his photo files, picked out a photo and then got onto his twitter account and posted it.

Aye and I'm buttoned up the back.

Love how the idiot spent ages trying to make excuses that it wasn't him who posted it/left phone unlocked etc.... Nobody gives two f***s who posted it, it's the content that matters.

I don't know whether SP posted it on purpose, acidentially or if someone did access his phone however it sounds dodgy that someone found the message and tweeted it.

I'm thinking that Agar once into BP would give SP a way back in and back to being a director again but this isn't going to happen now.

I believe Nixon and Jenkins were taken in and completely stitched up in another Steve Brown way and to save embarrassment are biding time, I honestly think in the early days they were stupid enough to believe in a billionaire.

If they come out and say it's a scam all hell will break loose so I expect that they are desparately touting around trying to get investment from a foreign tom, Dick or Harry or we will get an announcement to say the billionaire has lost interest. If we somehow beat Liverpool expect these the day after.

Agree with that, Mullen. I think you're entirely right that Statler and Waldorf have definitely been taken in by someone and are now completely backed into a corner, however I have absolutely zero sympathy as they were only too happy to grasp at any straw they could to derail the Lapping proposal, so they've brought all this on themselves.

Jon Coleman has said about as much as he can get away with in that article, but he clearly knows a lot more. The EN&S; won't let this one drop now, and will be looking for any chance they can to keep chipping away until the dam finally breaks.

They can't put it off forever surely. The more you try and hide the harder people will look. Some transparency is needed asap and, as I've said before, if the owners won't talk then their hand needs to be forced by the media and the new supporters club.

And the fact that nearly 4500 views have been wracked up on this post suggests it is a pretty compelling story in this whole sorry saga.

Nixon is trying to get Agar to admit to it, he won't as Agar thinks if the club goes into admin by keeping the status quo he can get his hands on the club. I'm guessing that that's what SP is hoping for too.

Good grief. The very thought of Pattison and 'Mr A' running Carlisle United. It would make the Nixon & Jenkins era seem like a golden age.
