I see the ref got good marks for yesterday but 5 minutes was added second half. I noticed a couple of times he had words with the ball boys. Do you think any extra time was added due to the ball boys " time wasting " ?

I thought the ball boys had a good game - their attitude towards the Dagenham players appeared to piss them off which certainly helped . If we could make BP a place where everyone makes an effort to make the away side feel slightly unwelcome/unnerved then maybe that could give us the extra edge we may need against the better teams in the league

When the ref doesn't get boo'd off, you know he's had a decent game. I thought he was one of the better refs we've had in the past few seasons.

6 subs and a goal will have helped make the 5 min up. Every game seems to have been 4 minutes or so. Probably cause of the 30 goals we've seen

I wasn't too impressed with the Ref this weekend, very much less so with the lines man in front of the Paddock, tricky thankless job though and if they where any good they wouldn't be ref-ing forth tier football.

Most impressed with the ref at the Oldham friendly this season so far, he signaled with his hands why he gave a decision as play was going on rather than just carrying on like he didn't want to be there.

I thought the ref had a good game... he got most things correct and kept his whistle out of his gob as often as possible.

With regard to the ball boys... it would make sense if one of them stood on the terrace behind the waterworks... it takes an age to get the ball back when it goes in there.

So the tactic is when we are winning no ball boy in the waterworks if we are losing then stick two of them in there to get it back quicker lol
