There are a lot of people involved in the CUFC fiasco at the moment and we have hardly had a peep from any of them. Who would you like the local press to give an in depth interview too?
I believe the following should be approached and asked to speak about the matter and if they refuse they could at least give a valid reason why.
Nixon
Jenkins
Andy Bell
Lord Clarke
Pattison
Agar
Dick Young
David Allen
Fred
The council leaders re blue yonder
Lapping

Have I missed anyone? Surely they aren't all tied to confidentiality agreements for everything. They should all be asked and their responses duly noted.

Come on radio Cumbria and the n&s.; Get digging.

I think it's shocking that not a word has been said by anyone about the Pattison fiasco the other week...

No need to interview me thank you very much.I can categorically state that I have no idea who the purported Billionaire is or whether he or she exists.

Thanks

Agreed. Something that the fan rep should really be pushing for as it indicates corruption at the highest possible level of the club. It'll just get swept under the carpet and forgotten about though.

Come on Laffy. Any chance that you could get something together with your contacts and push for a full takeover. No kidding that it would be easy, but imagine the journey that we could all then go on...

Honestly, I keep saying it, and I will carry on saying it. He can't buy the shares unless one (or more) of the shareholders is willing to sell. The only other option is what was proposed before, and that didn't happen because they don't want to lose their hold on the club. It is not a PLC and the shares are not traded on the stock exchange so your suggestion is all but impossible.

And on the same theme. If Nixon and Jenkins are insistent on not revealing anything they can't be forced to, not by legal means anyway. .

But going back to the original post, isn't it about time somebody at least set the ball rolling. Surely once the can of worms opens the truth will come out.

I think we already know the truth. I listened to the radio on the way home from the match on Saturday and Lummy was particularly scathing about the "billionaire" and the rest of them joined in to an extent. If there was such a person wouldn't the idiots have got in touch with Radio Cumbria and said something? The fact that they haven't even bothered speaks volumes. What they don't say tells us far more than what they would say in any interview.

I believe that at the moment they really don't know what to say, they know that everyone else knows they've made it all up, they know we all know the reasons, and they are frantically trying to find themselves a way out which will not make them look ridiculous. I've got news for them, they look ridiculous already, nothing they can say or do now will change the way I'm thinking about them, except for making it worse. Even if they actually come out and say "look, we made it up to get rid of Lapping" I won't forgive them.

I wouldnt say frantically marra. More likely thinking another win on saturday we could be in the playoff positions so we'll just carry on doing nowt and hopefully theyll all forget.

I take anything that comes out of our custodians mouths, as absolute horse shit! But some (if not most folk) will believe every word and what they said about AL.

It is seriously dismaying that there is anybody who follows anything to do with the club has any doubt whatsoever that the thing might well be made up. Anybody who gives it a little thought must surely realise that if a vastly rich person was interested in taking control (or even investing in) a football club, it shouldn't take this long. In fact the time would undoubtedly be now, the team is doing well, rising up the table and has a big game with a top club coming up. There's a chance of him recouping some of his investment right away with the Liverpool game. Instead, it's all gone quiet over there.

In all honesty, for anybody to swallow the rubbish they are coming out with there must be something sadly lacking in the little area between the ears. What's even more worrying is the sheer number of these people. Are we, as a club, followed by the most gullible people in the history of the world?

I think they don't mind how many people think it's a complete pack of lies due to the low amount of hostility they get. Had we not got the Liverpool game and those two player sales they would be in big trouble at the moment. Almost every fan I've spoke to just laughs when the billionaire topic comes up its as if it's so stupid it's not worth challenging Nixon and co on.

Take Nixon for example he sits there every home game smug as anything knowing he's not going to face any difficult questions that he has to answer, however saying that 2 home games ago a fan shouted from the paddock where's your ******* billionaire Nixon he did look down but didn't show one bit of emotion. Sooner he's gone the better
