The team doesn't look very clean sheet-y, but we are better off going on the attack anyway.

Wayne Q. Anchor, world masturbating champion, has kept more clean sheets than us

This just isn't promotion form, or playoff form, it's relegation form - sorry for being a bed-wetting fanny but thank christ we've already enough points to avoid the drop

Anything but three points today is unacceptable.

Couldn't give a shit how well taken the goal was.

Time for KC to start getting results again, he is ultimately responsible for our poor showings of late.

This was a must win game today didnt start too well but managed to get that win and to stop the rot....and take advantage of other slip ups... weird how exeter are flying...at this rate it could be very interesting come the last day....if both teams stay in the hunt.

You would think their run won't last forever but who knows.
My biggest fear was that Portsmouth would go on a run like Exeter have and blow us away, they still could.

Don't know about that, I think the expectation down there is such that they could well blow it completely before the end of the season, although you can never right them off.
Exeter are the ones for me at the moment, just cant seem to stop winning. But I also think the top two could be caught, Plymouth are a bit hot and cold and even though Doncaster are seemingly running away with it, I wasn't that impressed with them down on their own patch, infact another 5mins and we would have beaten them. A win over Blackpool at the weekend will really set up a very tasty encounter a week on Tuesday COYB.

What generally happens is that someone absolutely steams along in the last 6-8 games.
85 points has been needed for promotion the last two years, which is still a tall order ie 33 point needed Lots of big games to look forward to in the next few weeks :)

Massive win this, probably the biggest of the season for me. Stops the rot and sets us up for a tough 6 weeks which will probably define our season. Good to see the new arrivals all contributing aswell.

To call it "must win" though is a bit far fetched, considering we'd still have been in the automatic promotion places had we not won.

Hopefully January was our blip, and it was good to get a result against one of the leagues strugglers, something we haven`t been good at since Newport County.
February looks interesting, with Blackpool, Doncaster, Wycombe and Portsmouth, ending with Cheltenham.
Shame Proctor managed a sending off today, how many games will he miss ?

On way back

Deserved win. Started 3 at the back, credit to Curle for changing the formation early on when it clearly wasn't working.

Proctor is class, reminds me of Lee Miller in his first 2 seasons for us the way he plays. Both of his bookings were harsh in my opinion. Other stand out performers were Devitt and Liddle.

Good to hear Proctor looks decent. Kind of dispels the assumption by some that he was a last minute, scrambled panic buy. Could be a big signing. How was O'Sullivan?

O'Sullivan started off playing as the 1 behind the strikers in a 3-4-1-2, he couldn't get in the game really. Improved when we switched to 4-4-2, worked hard and was positive, took his man on a few times, tracked back and not shy of a tackle. Got knackered a bit though probably due to lack of game time and went off.

Gillespie very rarely saves it when blasted right at him, the ball always finds a way past.

Just watched highlights, not sure I'd blame Gillespie for the goal, was a good hit low down. I'd be more looking at the centre halfs, all 3 were within 10 yards of each other and a simple goal kick beat them all, awful goal to concede.

Proctor's second yellow was a definite. Two footed.

Fair enough. I haven't seen the highlights so can only go by what I remember. I thought it was a good tackle to win the ball but if it was 2 footed then fair dos.

Quite often I see things diffeeently once I've seen highlights
