In absolute honesty, our performance was way below acceptable standard. We played one and a half pieces of proper football all game and got two goals for the privilege. It should be a lesson to us, as the second half against Bradford should've been a lesson to us. The path to genuine success is found by passing the ball, not lumping it.

Piglet... I get that there needs to be caution sometimes ... and we all need a sense of pessimism to keep us grounded... but your negative mindset is constant.....can you say anything positive?

If Beech is going to prove us wrong, it’s gotta be three points today. Free match pass number two (thank you, EFL Rewards) is the only reason I’m watching this one, hopefully I’ll see something that makes me spend money on further passes...

I rarely win anything, yet I can’t seem to stop winning these passes!

Hopefully skybet or EFL rewards are compensating the club for these freebies.

I’ve checked in to probably about 50+ games this season on that app, including 3 today. Haven’t won a single thing yet. I get “unlucky” every time.

I am currently checking out our opposition by listening to the Barrow game on BBCRC.

Nearly half time, getting beat 1-0 honestly should be 3-0 as a goal disallowed and a freak miss on the goal line has saved them.

Apart from the obvious threat that we know about in Jamie Devitt they are very nervy - a bit like we go when teams score against us.

Try and not give away silly free kicks around the area and we should be okay for at least a point I reckon, I still think that there is definitely more about Barrow than say Southend or Crawley.

And Brough went off injured on 43 minutes so might be doubtful for Saturday.

Finished 1-1 they were lucky there to get one at the end, pleased for them as it could be important come the end of the season.

Definitely comes with a great deal of experience and what is impressive is that a lot of it is modern - David Dunn certainly wasn't daft bringing him in.

You only have to observe the results after taking over the reigns from two different managers to see his impact.

Probably only doing it because he enjoys it mind you, decent pension plan in place, he can be relaxed and say it how he sees it whereas Beech is more like at a fledgling stage of his carer where he still needs the money so he sometimes sees things a different way and loses his rag, this is my theory anyhow.

(Before anyone says what does money matter in this, two blokes work in the same factory, one owns his house outright and one has a mortgage - both are to be made redundant and are both are down about it but which one is more stressed about the situation?)
