If you want to be controlled and live in tyranny seems the place to go.

Love this country but like so many other get frustrated by snowflake jurys who think its ok to vandalise a statue and roll it in to the river and don't get me started on our incompetent police as seen on Anna and four Lives over the past few days.

That should be on the worlds gone mad thread.

Agree, but are other countries better - at least we can discuss it here.

I’d have gone to Australia before the covid nonsense.

I think the Aussie thing is the thin edge of the wedge. Looking at what is going on in Kazakhstan over fuel pricing, (where many of the protesters have been killed) it is inevitable things will spread as post covid bites.

Maybe more civil unrest on the way where many will look to settle old scores, as vaccinated/unvaccinated, health passports etc are imposed.

they made it clear that to enter the country you had to share your vaccination status with them to gain entry . This has been a story for along time before he set off and his well timed infection won't cut much mustard I don't think. Do you think Mullen for example would get in if he tried this ?

I think Interpol are alerted immediately as a rule if Mullen leaves the country. ;)

It’s when I try to come back :p

Bobs right that you shouldn’t give special treatment because someone’s a tennis champion. However the one thing this does show is how pathetic the rules are to begin with.

No problem with them , their house their rules . He shouldn't have been an a8se , all he had to do was show his vaccine status but because it doesn't suit him this happens. Australia is very careful about its borders even between territories and covid is just another on the list , watch outback truckers and see the hassle they have at times 😉. It makes a lot more sense than not getting into pubs because you have trainers on but you have to accept that too.

"Novak Djokovic ADMITS breaking isolation while Covid positive and calls it an ‘error of judgement’..."

"Novak Djokovic news LIVE: Serb may face five years in prison, agent blamed for visa error"

"Novak Djokovic: I knew I had coronavirus during photoshoot "
Obviously this is a little off topic and nothing to do with Djokovic whatsoever but there is a belief among many athletes that the vaccine and PEDs are a very dangerous mix!

As much chance of him going to prison as i have of shagging Amanda Holden :D maybe not the best example as i reckon she might be up for it.

That alone should be enough to send him packing his bags..total disrespect for others knowingly he had covid..from a big sports star its a fkn shan to be honest...

I hope they send him packing.
However knowing him he will feign some form of injury, take a time out, come back as if nothing has happened, then win the damned thing - it always worked for him in the past whenever he was in trouble.
I blame his parents.

My opinion the right decision.

1. He was unvaccinated...as the rules clearly stated.

2.He kept his covid a secret until he was exposed in a court hearing.Bare in mind most tennis players on Social media have posted when they had covid to their fans....in other words arrogance.

3.He was out prancing around doing stuff knowing he had covid, then tried to blame others....that enough is to tell him to foxtrot oscar.

He should go home and take a chip off his unvaccinated arrogant shoulders and have a think about taking responsibility.

Well done the aussies,i knew you wouldn't let me down, lets hope its 3 years before he can return.

Yes well done the Aussies.
All hell would have been let loose if he had been allowed to stay and compete.
Maybe he can take his misguided supporters with him.
Arrogant man, thinking he can circumnavigate rules and regulations just because of who he is.
Think he may have a future in politics when his tennis career ends.

There’s no denying Djokovic is an arrogant so and so but he has been deported because he won’t put something in his body.

This is wrong and sets a dangerous precedent. However it’s Australia’s rules, but it might bite them on the arse.

Good luck to the ACP and their Australian closed tournament.
