Let’s give some balance to this equation.
Gardiner is a muppet, but he had no idea who he was dealing with - just as two tory Prime Ministers were in the dark regarding her motives…
“She also has links to the Conservatives. She appears to have also developed a good relationship with David Cameron while he was prime minister. And in January 2019, she received a Points of Light Award from then premier Theresa May, in recognition of her contribution to good relations with China via the British Chinese Project.“

The Supreme Soviet, on the other hand, knew exactly what he was doing when inviting one hundred people round for a booze up whilst the rest of us were kept apart from our loved ones.
No amount of whataboutery can undo the damage done. The cult of personality can no longer save this abomination of a Prime Minister. For the good of his party (and his country), he simply has to go.

In today's political theater, your right, what's wrong with taking loot of a spy, I mean it's loot - eh ?
As for those buggers having a small gathering as a reward for managing a National Pandemic, shoot the lot of the buggers - eh !

As I said, Gardiner is a muppet (in fairness, I’d have said the same before this news). She clearly had the wool over his eyes, just as she played both Cameron and May for fools.
Reward for managing a pandemic? Do they inject the party line straight into your veins?
I don’t see anywhere saying the Tories took money-whereas the Labour Party have trousered a fortune.
Nobody is denying it either.
Gardiner had it coming.A total Scottish loser with an incredibly annoying ferret like voice and demeanour which grates in you. He’s finished.
Boris is a flawed genius. That is the strategy to ride the storm and I think he will.

That red wall is going to be rebuilt if he’s allowed to continue. And don’t forget, even Uxbridge isn’t completely safe for him…
This latest ‘spygate’ scandal casts a negative light on our entire political establishment. Labour, the Libs, and the tories - all caught with their pants down. Such naïveté from our ‘leaders’…
Gardiner should face the music over this - but so should the Conservative Prime Ministers (plural) whose cosy relationships with a foreign agent have lent that agent the kind of credibility necessary to exert their influence in our parliament.
Delicious-taking money from a spy.Far worse than sausage rolls in the garden
By all accounts Marko, the soaring fuel cost is down your brethren to the East
Boris goes then Gove,JRM,Patel,Raab or Sunak for PM.
Sounds good to me. Lefties and Snatsis everywhere crying.
I’ve said it before-politicians don’t get paid enough so we end up with monkeys who then want a trough
