If he's not good enough he's not good enough I guess. What concerns me is that Zanzala couldn't get a game, then one 90th minute tap in against Grimsby, he was in the team, and now he is our best striker. Not even giving Scott a chance to show what he can do smacks of lack of imagination. On a 13 match losing run he has to be worth a shot, he can't be worse than what is out there and his determination to do well might just carry him through
I do understand when people say 'you don't see him train every day' but this saying means nothing to me.
We all know managers who have their favourites but maybe Beech doesn't fancy the lad but another manager would - unless we ourselves as fans get a look then we are just taking one mans word for it that he is no good and this doesn't sit right with me.
Beech needs to remember that even Jason Price was instrumental in winning us one of the only cups that we have ever won.
