Totally agree CCU. It makes no sense at all to keep him hidden, immediately makes it sems as though there is something to hide, when it actually could be spun into something good and optimistic.

Whether CUOSC is aware is irrelevant, they don't represent the fans. I feel we get more info from the CUSG meetings. I do wish you would reconsider and go to those. Their minutes usualy turn something up of interest.

CUOSC have very little say as can be seen in the appointment of a 53 year old journeyman manager when they wanted a young bright coach to the take the club forward. That worked out well. :cheer:

I want you to reconsider as I think it’d be very beneficial. I sometimes see one of the blokes from the west coast branch at work and he says it’s worthwhile for finding stuff out. If nothing else I’d suggest Going as a one off to see if there is any merit. I don’t think it can do any harm by doing that and it wouldn’t make this board any less independent.

Email NC and see if he will give you a direct answer.

At the time I was anti the message board getting involved and said so.
My reason was I thought the whole CUSG thing was stepping on the toes of our fan rep. I really wanted the fan rep to succeed (still do) and I thought having CUSG, CUOSC and a fans rep would be too many cooks, they would get in each others way and nothing would get done.

Now things have changed. We don't have a fans rep, CUOSC appear to be a secret society who don't represent or report back to their members never mind fans in general and we are left with CUSG.

For myself I am happy with and respect the fans who are working in CUSG. Having chatted with some that attend, they say they have learned from going, although some find it frustratingly slow in getting any ideas off the ground. At the moment CUSG seems to be made up of those who travel to away matches and the London branch. I would like it to become a broader spectrum of fans and preferably more folk from the younger end of the fanbase.

I would like the message board represented.

I think the general feel last time was against representation as such but many would have been ok with attendance, without speaking on someone’s behalf.

We have double if not touching triple the amount of ‘members’ of the other ‘supporters groups’. Huge benefit for the club to tap into that I think.

That said I find the majority of the topics covered trivial and in some cases almost irrelevant to the majority of fans.

We’ll pop a new poll up on Monday and run it for the rest of the week if folk want?

for all the BOD's talk about communicating with the fans we're back to square one. They've got no intention of "keeping the fans" in the loop. They deserve all the flak we can give them. If anyone from the trust is reading this we need answers from you. Are Jim and Billy prepared to call a meeting so we can pin them down or will they invoke their version of an "NDA" answers please

The staff list has now been brought up to date apart from Mr Holdsworth but Amy hasn't changed the date at the top which is still showing 1st May.

It's interesting some roles are left vacant at the moment like Strength and Conditioning coach but there's no vacant role for Commercial Director. As we thought there was never any serious intention of replacing Phil King when his duties could easily be taken on by the other staff.

Not at all. As I’ve said several times on here, think the idea isn’t bad, but in its current form isn’t up to the job (Up to 3 Reps from each Group? Far too many!)...

I have noted this before about the David/Dean Holdsworth link, i do think that EWM have brought him in.

With the best will in the world, what do EWM know about recruiting football staff? David Holdsworth's CV is patchy at best and you have to question why he is doing what he is said to be.
