I bet you'll know who they are by tomorrow morning.

I hope there’s more than a couple, because we'll need them to put a squad together for the first friendly in a little over a week.

To be honest i don't know what most of the new players look like anyway so no point in me looking.

I'm surprised CCU hasn't worked it out yet. He must be busy watching Gerry Cinnamon on the iPlayer!

Part of the reason they don't tell you who is in on trial as it alerts other clubs to said players availability.

Aye it would be mayhem if other sides found out who was on trial here.

Especially if we're offering Tier 9 wages if they're any good.

That reeves might be worth taking. 28 in 29 is pretty impressive even at a much lower level and only 20 years old.

The defender Chambers. You have to wonder why at 25 he’s still playing at such a low level. But I guess that’s where we’re at in terms of the calibre we can attract. While Plymouth are signing Danny Mayor, we’re looking at a 25yr old Dulwich Hamlet player.

As Reeves is on the transfer list at Ilkeston, presumably we’ll Have to pay a fee which might prove difficult with Holdsworth at the forefront of negotiations.

Miles Storey isn't up to much any time I've seen him on the telly. But you never know Karl Hawley didn't have much of a pedigree when he arrived.

That Reeves could be worth a gamble. Duffus and Chambers will just be going anywhere they can get a trial. We are definitely shopping in the bargain basement!

Gavin Rose, the Dulwich Hamlet manager, has a reputation for reviving players' careers. Quite a few Dulwich players go on to League clubs it seems. Dulwich get good crowds in the National League South and are probably looking at going for promotion to the National League.

Reeves sounds like a prospect would be great to have a Reeves up front for the blues If he's anything like his namesake my favourite ever striker for us.

Reeves scored a lot of goals at Ilkeston last season who won the league I think, however it was a league at the same level as the Northern League, a level above Penrith.

Chambers was touted as a future England international when Palace signed him a few years ago from Dulwich! He played centre half for Welling when we hammered them 5-0 away in the cup a few years ago.

I’ve no idea what sort of forward Storey is and I’ve always said you shouldn’t judge a forward on his goalscoring record, but career stats of 1 in 7 is a bit worrying!

Miles Storey is worse than Bennett trust me I’ve seen him live and I have friends that are thistle fans who feel the same.

Reeves looks the only one worth any kind of interest.

Can only echo the sentiment about storey, one of the worst players ever to grace a football pitch

Ilkeston haven't offered Reeves a contract as he's moving away so we won't have to pay compensation.

Tbh don't see much benefit to going after youngsters from below National League if they're gonna be restricted to 1-year deals as well. They'd need at least a year to adjust to league football, and if they did adjust well, we'd just lose them for some sort of tribunal fee anyways.

It literally says on their website that he’s been transfer listed. Surely that means he’s under contract.

When he was signed by Ilkeston last year.

I’m just saying what it says on their website nobby. Surely he has to be under contract to be placed on the transfer list. Maybe he signed an extension mid way through the season since your info from last year.

If he was under contract at Ilkeston would he be able to just walk away and move to Kent.

Maybe contracts are different at part-time level.

He was under contract on the 18th May but this ran out on the 30th of June, so now he is a free agent.

So they put him on the transfer list in case anyone wanted to sign him for a month before his contract ran out?

I think he has said if he doesn’t get a chance to play in the league he will pack it in and take up a job offer he’s had.

Went down to training this morning was quite interesting although hard to identify anyone other than what’s left from last season,managed to get to grips with some though the
traillist Tyrone Duffus was quite impressive very controlled and calm on the ball and picked out a few good passes, also Isaac Buckley-Ricketts was playing he’s difficult to get the ball off and did one or two decent things. Also talked to Kelvin Etuhu and a blast from the past
Tony Craig who had just been over to Hungary with Livingston. Elvis was very animated and demanding from the players. Apparently more players on their way in, so fingers crossed we can get a decent start to the season.

He's never scored a goal in his short career to date. Anothet year left at Peterborough but they want rid.

He's scored for the England u-20s. Sometimes you need to take a risk on players like him, let them find their feet at this level. That's why I bet holdsworth is going for a 3 week contract with a 2 week optional extension. Times are hard and all that.
