I’d use the term Manc’s loosely, there were quite a few there from Carlisle today. It wasn’t a protest it was a riot. It may have been partly down to the super league and the Glazers but there is one simple truth in all of this: United fans simply cannot handle the fact that they cannot compete with their neighbours anymore, they cannot deal with the fact that it is not the 90’s and they are no longer the best. This arrogance has been passed down generations, the same arrogance is the reason why they’re not at Brunton Park because we aren’t successful, the same reason why you see more United and Liverpool shirts on the streets of a Carlisle than Carlisle shirts. They’ve been spoilt and now they can’t handle the fact that they’re not only second in the country but second in their own City. Neville is the biggest hypocrite btw, his Salford side are everything that’s wrong with football.

If a football match is called off because of fans breaking into a stadium and/or trouble on the streets , players can't leave their hotel and the bus would potentially be attacked, it's seriously messed up if people applaud that.

That’s a bit different to saying the Glazers have spent a billion. You’d be closer saying Ed Woodward had spent a billion. Andrew Jenkins has spent more on Carlisle United than the Glazers have on Man United.

The idea that the Glazers have spent big when they've taken more out than put in is ridiculous.

It's the same argument that was used by Remainers in the Brexit debate, i.e. that the EU was funding regional development, improving infrastructure and subsidising farmers in the UK, when at the same time the UK was a net contributor.

Very sad to see, however there was little to no thought given to the implications of announcing the Super League and what is represented. The big Spanish Clubs are in the smelly stuff, they badly needed that revenue.

We have all complained for years about the ridiculous numbers money wise in the Premier League, however then the likes of Garry Neville spouts about how the Premier League is the best in the World, then condemns those who have made it that way.The Premier League like all top sports is high level money laundering.

It's interesting to note. The revenue of the Premier League has gone up in the 2020/21 season with very few, if any fans through the turnstiles. Broadcasting and Commercial/Sponsorship is where the real revenue comes from.

Many have tarnished the City owners by saying things such as human rights abusers, blood money, oil money and other racial slurs. However, I would guarantee that if a Middle Eastern consortium were to take over they would bite their hand off. Souness was spot on yesterday, the American owners and Levy need to make a profit due to the mountains of debt there is at these clubs, they were always in it to make money on the side. The Chelsea and City owner have more money than anyone could imagine, they don’t need to make profit and they both are football mad. Glazers didn’t even know the offside rule.

They could do with Man U doing them a favour by beating Leicester when they meet on Tuesday.
However Man U will be playing their kids against Leicester as the Man U v Liverpool match will be played 2 day later so they have 4 games in a week.
Man U wont be bothered about losing fo Leicester as they are still likely to comfortably finish 2nd anyhow.
