I don't think it's happened before but I agree with Piglet, absolute no to Billy Davis.

I would be happy with Tidsdale, nice bloke who believes in youth but doubt he would want to move so far North.

I still can't get why people wouldn't want John Mcgreal , he knows league 2 was sacked by Colchester having taken them to a Playoff semi final in a very harsh fashion , they have exactly flourished since .

His football isn't not awful and he signs young players works with them

The conveyor belt at Carlisle will only stop when we have a the right squad and a winning attitude, and for that you need lot's of loot.

In those who make the decisions at CUFC, I believe we have a few with that attitude, however, I also believe we have a few at the top who believe "we are Carlisle United, in the North West of England" and have accepted that, in there view the circumstances in footy have changed, and we will always be a lower league Club.

They should study the likes of Heerenveen, look at the catchment area and what has been achieved.

I'd be surprised if they'd have even heard of Heerenveen, let alone which country they are from.

Skelton's first pre-match interview is a total embarrassment.

Someone needs to tell him now Beech has left the club he no longer has to kiss his arse. But obviously, old habits die hard.

In order to improve you have to be honest enough to admit mistakes have been made and then explain how you're going to fix them. To sit there and try to make Beech sound like some sort of football Messiah is a bit weird, in all honesty.

To claim if we win on Saturday 70% of supporters will want him to get the job permanently is as deluded as anything Beech ever said.

They looked very chipper at training yesterday. Despite what Gavin Skelton says I'm guessing quite a few will be glad to see the back of Beech.

It's an awkward one we all want 3 points on sat but at the same time fear any success could lead to the 3 amigos taking the cheap way out and give Skelton the job, I've nothing against him but right now we need someone with the experience and tactical nous to get us out of the mess we are in.

It fits with Holdsworth saying the main target had managed at a higher level, was an excellent coach and based in the south..As I say its not common knowledge and the source of the crack was told by Holdsworth...

Would be a definite coup to persuade Mason to come, but what's his experience of tier four? Did he play on loan for Yeovil at some point?

Anyway, he's southern based with a young family and appears settled at Spurs with a great position in player development. Why on earth would you throw that away to work for Holdsworth?

Anyway, he's almost entirely inexperienced in management at our level. Taking charge of Spurs for a few games at the end of last season with zero pressure and expectation is almost in an entirely different universe to stopping the rot in our squad. What's the comparison? Kane with Abrahams, Mellish with Son? It would be like asking a blind person to translate the Bible into Mandarin.

The chicken has finally come home to roost this season is the culmination of 14 years of poor management by the 3 amigos. I pray I'm wrong but barring a miracle ie a change of ownership to an owner with the business nous and passion to see this clubs potential and have a plan to fulfil it.
Or a temporary reprieve by finding a manager who has a magic wand, even then unless there is a change at the top the decline will continue with only one end result.
