Millen just got smashed in the markets, now suspended…

He's at BP right now.
It's happening.

Talk that an announcement might be close - Keith Millen's odds have plummeted in the last hour or so. Odds on with most markets... but now Skybet and BV have taken the markets offline.

Truly uninspiring "job fo the boys" appointment.

Looking at the photos of Darren Sarll online he's not averse to a couple of kebabs either. Maybe the theory is to employ a "tough" manager to lick our under-performing squad into shape. He'd certainly be cheaper than the other candidates supposedly in the running.

Cheaper? Depends what Yeovil would want to release him. That’s Yeovil whose Owner has to pay some fee to someone shortly to do with their ownership…

For all we know Yeovil may be happy for us to take him off their hands for a modest fee. His 3 year contract with Yeovil which expires next summer has hardly been a roaring success with them lying 15th in the National League. If he reckons his contract won't be extended he could even buy himself out of the Yeovil contract for the rare opportunity of managing a League club again. He's only managed Stevenage in League 2 before, having been first team coach there previously. He probably interviews quite well to have had his career so far as with his cv he's not likely to be a front runner for any other EFL head coach job.

He'd be the most surprising and unlikely EFL managerial appointment since Chris Beech.

Keith Millen, according to his Linkedin profile, lives in South Croydon, which in itself, may (or should) rule him out.

So would you rule out Bridges for currently living in Oz or Zigor for being in Spain?!

Very quiet from the club today, usually suggests an announcement is imminent..

Very quiet from the club, that's normal isn't it?

I hope whoever gets the job is in place before the next game. Before the gap at the bottom gets to big.

Skelton didn’t apply last time.

It’s not mcgreal or tisdale.

Millen or Sarll by the looks of it either one takes us down.

Wanted an experienced manager, trouble is those experienced quality manager can see the state of cufc. Give it Bridges, if where gonna go down, let’s at least have someone we can get behind.

What evidence do you have that it is Millen or Sarll?

Skelton's interview on Saturday made me think , he's either been told the job is not his or he didn't want ,When asked about what's needed he used the third person a lot.

Could a big issue be that we aren't getting a high quality of candidates due to the feeling around the club. Then this is slowing down the process massively.

Who are these high quality experienced Managers who are available have you got in mind?

Keith Hill although i`m not sure about him long term would get us out of this relegation mess we`re in now.

Simmo would certainly bring the club a much needed lift, in the short term at least.

Sarll is presumably on the list as one of Holdsworth's under contract candidates that we'd have to pay a fee for.

That's 36 year old David Nugent who bagged a (mighty) three goals in his last forty appearances.

Sounds just the ticket.
