I agree with the Jenkins bit forgive and forget, I'm an amiable type of guy. For Nixon, Pattinson and Clibbens may I suggest stocks and rotten potatoes in front of the main stand for the public shaming part. We could follow this up with a brazen bull on the edge of the pitch as the game kicks off to allow them to cheer the lads on for the first few minutes. With a bit of planning and the right timing we could have this set up for pre match entertainment for the first home fixture of next season. This would guarantee a capacity attendance for the match and provide a rousing send off for the three (censored). Anyone who thinks Clibbens isn't a fully paid up member of the boys club need only listen to his last condescending radio interview.

EWM come in now as lender of last resort taking out PFD (Pioneer) and probably absolving AJ from the need to put any more money in. EWM will then look at stadium naming rights, shirt sponsorship etc and possibly a full takeover in the summer. The Jenkins family can withdraw gracefully from supporting the club financially leaving AJ there as Life President. Probably some more information will be released later this week and more in the programme notes on Saturday.

The turnover has probably gone from £5m in our playoff season to £3m now in league 2. Is the 55% rule on wages by turnover limit for the players only or all staff?

Nixon (TOTH ) and Pattison should certainly be removed from their Directorships and never have a say in the running of the club again.
However the same should apply to Jenkins who is the main reason for our problems. It would be a dreadful mistake to allow any of the 3 to have a say in the running of CUFC ever again. I would judge any potential takeover by the above.

Be exciting to EWM group taking control and offsetting the huge operating losses a football club like ours inevitably makes against other profits, and in turn continue to do that to allow for development of playing squad, stadium and general facilities.

Don't know what the set up will be but Nixon and Pattinson will be uncomfortable if they are forced to engage with the fans more and not be allowed to hide anymore.

You can't buy success but it would be nice to see a well run club with people running it that create that buzz that makes people feel that they are welcome back, they may even improve the catering - just little things.

And lets not forget, we are only two promotions away from being in what I believe is one of the most exciting leagues in Europe due to its unpredictability.

End of the day Clibbens is just an employee of the club, so any potential new owner would then choose whether to keep him.

Entirely possible that we could be taken over, AJ, JN and SP could leave but the new owner choose to keep Clibbens in his role.

The flaw in the big bonuses argument is the broad assumption that success brings the crowds back and higher turnover-clearly not happened here which is a shame.

he's maybe seen it as a get out of jail card and at the same time gets to drop Nixon and patison out of the equation. he gets his cash back, walks away from the two amigos and all's well in the world. Day has probably been sitting in the background biding his time, watching Nixon and patison con Jenkins time after time into funding their failings knowing full well that he'll eventually cotton on to what's happening and will put an end to it all.
