Talking Players from other Clubs, who can come in, and do a job from the off!

I’ll go first…

CB - Paul Huntington (Preston) - Loan until end of the Season? Experienced. Not in the First Team Pic at PNE, fit (Playing regular for their Reserves), and owes for his hissy fit when at Leeds (Redemption) :p

I don’t think that one is realistic. Think there’d be a queue of L1 clubs and top end L2 clubs ahead of us for him.
Not to mention how tight we are, Holdsworth would probably offer for us to pay 0.5% of his wages.

CCU, depends on how we do as KM stated in the next 10 games. I think we need a clear out either loaning out or cancelling contracts. I want to see KM ruthless.

I keep seeing/hearing people saying we should sign free agents now as we can’t afford to wait till January to act. And I agree we can’t afford to wait till January as we could be well adrift by then.

But what free agents are available? Can anyone suggest any names that are not retired ex CUFC strikers?

Might be unpopular with some because of his chequered past, but what about David Goodwillie?

32, prolific with Clyde who are struggling this season. Wouldn’t need to relocate and might fancy a last hurrah at a higher level.

Also may have crossed paths with Millen during his brief loan spell at Palace in 2012.

Cancelling contracts means, to all intents and purposes, paying up contracts. They can’t afford to do that.

Can’t see him leave Clyde nowadays, settled and happy…

I know it's sounds like the being obsessed with former players but Joe Garner seems not to be getting too many games at Fleetwood .

Will Harris from Sunderland, described last week as a ‘old school classic number nine’. Recently made his first team debut after 2 hat-tricks for u23s this season.

If Uncle Phil decides to put his hand in his pocket, at the top end of the market are Andy Carroll, Hal Robson-Kanu and Wilfred Bony still looking for clubs?

If you don't ask, you don't get. But failing that and back in the real world...

Yaya Sonogo is without a club.

Oumar Niasse also, is currently on trial at Rotherham (I think), we could put the feelers out in case this doesn't work out.

Plus there's also goal machine Cedwyn Scott, currently top scorer in tier six...

Huntington just built a new house in Scotby. Only 5 mins to work might suit him.
Robson-Kanu is crap

Aye we don't want the Crap players who spent most of his career in the championship /premiership . (Last season being in the premiership)

Would be more than good enough for league 2 , but he's unlikely to drop down to this level anyway .

His team-mate Macauley Langstaff is a couple ahead of him!

[censored] it, sign them both.

14 goals between them in eight games?

It’s all opinion, have watched him play for Wales loads of times and have never seen anything that made me think he was any good.

That one goal Cruyff turn being the exception.

“Realistic January Targets” and we’re already discussing players who’ll have earned £20k+ pw for the last 10 years of their career, no chance.

Garner an interesting one and certainly a move that would go down well with the fan base. We still desperately need a physical presence up top and I’d imagine that’s top of the shopping list. Just waiting for Gary Madine to get thrown in the mix..

It would be interesting if Millen was to use the Swedish market, might be able to bring some decent players from that league.

At least they would already be acclimatised to the Baltic weather.

Brandon Comley released by Bolton.

100+ games as a holding midfielder in L2, was on loan with us back in 15/16.

Surely worth a look.
