Bit of a contradiction there Marko, anyway, I thought we were all doomed, the economy was to go into free-fall, unemployment to sky-rocket. Interest rates to rise to prop up the pound. A large black hole awaited us, as it took years to negotiate trade deals.

A brain drain as all our skilled workers left the sinking ship, political turmoil, everything other than the plague and locusts. Privatisation of the NHS, outbreaks of racism and ethnic cleansing in the streets.

Many quoted the 'so-called ' experts (like the IMF) and others like them, what's the next excuse.

The IMF didn't get it wrong in 2016, they just lied throuh their back teeth to put people off voting for brexit.

It's actually very clever if you think about it 17 million people will probably get themselves one and keep it as a souvenir and never spend it making the treasury the best part of 10 million quid just like that.

They missed a trick there pal not to do a full set with a commemorative case with Farage, Boris, Tommy Robinson and all the others that helped make Brexit happen featured on coins.

They would sell like hot-cakes.


The Brexit coin is a true two fingers up to the EU and for everything that they stand for and therefore it should be a feature on coins for years to come.

But he is right - the Labour party has changed forever. Labour's support now comes significantly from students and the legions of minimum wage workers. One Labour politician said that their voters are the Uber drivers and Amazon and Deliveroo workers who are exploited by major corporations. The issue is that many of these roles are undertaken by recent immigrants to the UK. It is totally right that the conditions of work are fair and the minimum wage is upheld. What Labour sought to do in its manifesto was to transfer wealth from the middle classes and particularly the better off to these newcomers to buy their votes which was unacceptable. Boris's plan of diverting investment to left behind towns while investing in the NHS and schools is a much fairer solution for tackling inequality.
