Im pretty pissed off Derwent Park.was a suitable venue to get a decent crowd to use.Keeping the team in Cumbria should have been 1st choice. Poor decision.I feel CUFC fans have done enough travelling this season already and placing more burden on fans to fork more out for travel expenses.

Derwent Park doesn't meet football league standards and the surface may as well be a freshly ploughed field, give it up.

It hosted the RLWC and was upgraded so it should be..There is however only 950 seats in the stand but come on the ground is way better than Accrington Stanleys..who have a shan of a ground

RLWC means squat all, the ground is not up to minimum football league standards.

No segregation.
All Terraced & standing areas are not up to code.

AS might be diddier but it's designed to meet the standard. Derwent Park would need significant work to meet them.

If that's right and 5 home games are affected then I'd hope we'd look to rearrange at least 2 of them for mid weeks later on rather than change venue. We travel enough miles as it is and even though they're still home games, we still lose the home advantage at a neutral venue.

Give up this derwent park campaign. It's a horrendous stadium, with a shit potato patch of a pitch with a f***ing turd track round it.

No way would it be suitable. It would be a disgrace to our club having to play a home match in such poverty.

We would certainly have got a much bigger crowd in Workington with a better atmosphere than Preston and it would have been a good opportunity to attract new fans from West Cumbria. I think the reason is every ground has to be certified for football league matches even if it was up to standard. Maybe thats the reason we only played our non league cup match at Workington Reds ground as it is probably not even up to Conference standards.

We'd be better off playing at Brunton Park in its current state, than going to that dump!

Do you not think these poor f_ckers have suffered enough!?
