Why does everybody assume that just because we build an out of town stadium it'll be the same as the badly built ones they've been to ? Perhaps we'll learn from their mistakes.
The argument that out of town grounds lack a soul is a fallacy, it's upto the architect and the fans to give a ground one. I've been to just as many shit "old" stadiums as I have new ones.
I wonder if folk had arguments like this when they were originally building places like BP, all grounds will have been out of town in the past, until the towns and cities grew around them.
Because this is CUFC. It will be the cheapest, nastiest breeze block and Lego stadium possible. As long as the boardroom is nice, then the rest won't matter.
