For now yes - an agreement has been made about how/when to release info such as that. It's not for me to break that agreement. If I did, I'd find myself off the CUOSC board, you have to understand that.

This is ludicrous-as I mentioned several times, the days of forcing through motions without regard to substantial minority are long gone.Company law prohibits.

In my view the clock would only be set by consensus and more importantly when there is a fleshed out proposal to actually read!!It seems from the stopping of the clock that commonsense has prevailed.

So therefore the clock was running.

Thank you for clearing that up Mr Nixon at least Deano now knows he was wrong and can admit it.

The clock has stopped correct, I told you yesterday when you spat your dummy and started your pathetic abuse as you always do, that you were incorrect. The clock should never have started as there has never been sufficient information for that to have been the case. I knew it had stopped though, but didn't feel I was in a position to say anything publicly, but you kept on banging on about it as though you knew otherwise, which as you can see now wasn't the case.

Err excuse me but do you want me to go back and repost all your messages in which you say that the clock wasnt ticking .

When in fact It was ticking till the meeting yesterday and from what i.m told of that meeting to get it stopped took a hell of a lot of grovelling on the Trusts part and if it wasnt for one of "Jenkins potential investors" severely reducing his planned investment you probably wouldn't of succeeded anyway. Nixon made it quite clear this morning to use his words they are treating the Trust as "hostile". So grow some balls and be bloody hostile for a change..

And for your information i can tell you that from any meeting that you dont physically attend i will know as much as you do at the same time if not before you do and my criticism of you isnt to illicit information that i probrably already know but to see if theres any sign of a pair of balls growing that might indicate that someone who said he was joining the Trust board to make a difference was starting to to do that and not just Towing the party line.

So one of 4 parties are feeding you information then?
AJ/JN
Their solicitors
CUOSC's solicitors
One of the 3 reps that attended yesterday?

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Nixon was talking like he'd lost the plot at times.

Delusions of grandeur springs to mind on hearing that interview.

You'd think he was President of the USA rather than head of external affairs at a tin pot League two club.

Mind you what he does FA/League wise at those top hotels and restaurants (at the club's expense) must be a hardship.

From what J/N said this morning the club are in fairly reasonable financial shape which is a good thing for a league 2 club. There is no doubt in my mind that the overseas investor is still around. I like the idea of local businessmen and the overseas investor and wonder if that is the plan.He did admit that a succession plan is being thought about due to the age of both himself and A/J
I also think that for crowds to improve there has to be more winning on the field and that is where supporters come in by encouraging the players and manager.
I would be quietly confident of the future as there are things happening albeit a bit late which could create that better future. My only criticism would be that when you get to the age of J/N and A/J you do not want to take as much risk and maybe they will make way for younger people.

Top notch post Shaldon... you should catch a few fish with that post. It's important for a spoof wind-up account to be subtle, which I think you managed just nicely. 10/10

Yes he came across like the total dick that he is but at least he cleared a few things up for us whether intentionally or not.

The site in consideration was the Viaduct site

There is no plan in place to move from BP and that there are no plans to significantly update it.

For the next five years any available money will be spent on the team and not on half baked Blue Yonder like schemes.

But one thing i.d love to see is the breakdown of the £3.3m insurance pay out.

How the hell can a company who employ 300 people with no doubt a very complicated payroll book lose access to it just because a few terminals were lost in a flood..For a very small amount i used to subscribe to a fire/flood insurance policy that would ensure that after an incident i would be able to remotely access any information that i could before the incident within 24 hours.Looks like SK forgot to take out their policy.

I did ask the club if they had a disaster recovery or business continuity plan, obviously not!

Tin pot!

It does show how inept the current owners are that they did not have adequate back up or a basic disaster recovery plan in place.... even more so as the ground has previously been flooded. It isn't as if these things are difficult or expensive to put in place. It just makes it worse that JN then goes on radio and admits how stupid and tin pot they are by not having a clue what was going on after the floods.

We appear to be staying at Brunton Park for the foreseeable - tick, more than happy with that. I'd love a shiny new ground but not stuck out in the wilds a la Colchester and not stuck in the middle of a city that has pretty awful traffic problems on a normal Saturday without football traffic as well.

Offices are moving to the other side of the ground - tick, glad that the Pioneer stand is going to be occupied, about time.

Part of the CEO's job is going to be working with and involving fans - tick, that desperately needs to happen.

I was disappointed the fan rep wasn't mentioned but maybe that has been handed over to the CEO to deal with, we shall see.

Regarding the none take overs. I'm not going to comment, I can't, I don't have the knowledge of such things to come to an informed decision. I do know the board room needs shaking up, with new dynamic ideas that will encourage fans back to the club.

Regarding the discontent from fans. I do think it is more widespread than JN realises. However I don't think it is as widespread as some people on this messageboard thinks. Wander through the crowd at a match and most want to talk about players, about tactics, about wins. Many will say they aren't interested in the other stuff. A fair few say they come to football to relax, not to get involved in the politics.

I posted after the fans rep debacle wondering where we as fans go from here. On reflection I think we do what we always have., We carry on, we moan when things are wrong, we hope things get better but in the end we carry on.

Have to agree with most of that Barbara.
Like a lot of other people think the communications between fans and the board is nothing short of shambolic. The Boardroom does need 'shaking up' like you say, BUT the so called discontent (in my opinion) is not quite as widespread as some people would have you believe.
Like everybody else I would just love change and if there is a thread of truth about this Billionaire then please lets bring it on.
In the meantime it looks like we are stuck with it as it is, but I think we have to give the new fella a chance and hopefully he can ruffle a few feathers.
We will all wait with bated breath.

It is widespread..just folk wont get off their arses and do summet about it...and vent their fury how its being run... apathy reigns with many.. thats the reason.

Employ new folk may look positive, but they are just puppets in their silly game of "we want our money back for running the club wrong"..

How the hell would they know anything about the level of discontentment theyve done nothing to engage with the 50% of fans who fall into this group and no longer attend home games. I dont see many of them coming out and saying how happy they are do you ?

I'd say it was more widespread apathy, disillusionment and resignation for the majority of our supporters. Many just want to ignore anything to do with the owners and the Trust as they are just sick of the whole thing. They prefer to stick to onfield stuff... that shouldn't be taken as support for the owners though.

Just had a listen now it's on the iplayer now, if anyone wants to listen that missed it this morning.
Took me a while to find it but it's here right at the beginning:

www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p03vq11c#play

It's everything that you'd expect really!

A total lack of urgency and a refusal to accept any form of criticism that is astounding, really! Apparently the reason that the clubs been in decline of and on the pitch is all down to football not anyone's decision making at board room level???

It was Keith Agar who said that Andrew Lapping was Narcissistic, I could be wrong but I'm sure Steve Pat echoed it.

But yes your right and it's definitely my opinion that JN likes the power and authority he gets from the position and yes he can do no wrong! Definitely the personification of narcissistic

Not sure how Zeller didn't hit him/ cancel the interview at times.

Asked about the potential site of blue yonder - response of I know where it is, I could tell you but I won't.

Same answer for the "billionaire". A point I found funny about the "billionaire" is he said that the reason the supposed investor was being referred to as the Billionaire is because of Andy Bells tweet because they chose to keep the club VP's in the loop. And yet they didn't find it necessary to keep the Trust informed.

Will it be the insurance paying for the offices to be moved to the east stand ?

Hostile investment - informed AJ that most people who put money into a football club lose it all wasn't a good Xmas present- so basically brought him into reality.

I really don't know the answer of why the fans hate me - perhaps because your a lying slime ball.

Only half way through and I'm already getting angry.

So I'm dubious,skint and now narcissistic.I have only met SP once-at Dick's funeral.Good job I don't take things personal

Sadly, the evidence of recent drift and failure is all around us and those in charge and who make the decisions ultimately have to take their share of the blame. That the 1921 board is totally toothless leaves only the custodians to take the flack.

I know they said they get 'people'to read the board for them,so report this back to our 'Director of External Affairs'

You're a slimy, lying [censored]. Nobody believes a single word you say,you tell that many lies, you can't even keep up with them, stretching all the way back to when Simmo was sold to Preston. No matter what,we all know you're clinging on,for your parasitical FA trips, you LOVE being the top man, despite your wife wanting you to leave. So to sum it up,[censored] off out of our club (And take the mole faced [censored] with you)

"Asked about the potential site of blue yonder - response of I know where it is, I could tell you but I won't."

Hell i thought that was the most truthful part of his answers at least we all knew where he meant by what he couldnt say.

Just underlined how arrogant, incompetent and downright obscene our owners are. So they still think they have done nothing wrong and won't admit they are out of their depth, we are now left with no hope and stuck for an unknown amount of time in a ancient ramshackle of a ground with no prospect of any change. What a joke, pressure must be kept on the incompetents or the club are doomed.

Ridiculous situation over the ground

They announce that were staying there and clearly the first thing that will need to be done to develop the ground will be to move the pitch in line with the east stand and whats the thing preventing that ?

The Neil Centre

So what do they do instead of making sure it couldnt be refurbished and getting the insurance to pay for a new one where its not in the way of any possible redevelopment they waste the money on tarting it up leaving it where it is.

And whats the bets when the use the insurance money to move the offices into the East Stand they remove any hope of ever using the top level and the boxes by some half arsed scheme that doesnt involve constructing the access thats needed.

Maybe they should talk to JC he had a plan to get a company to do the work and then give them the income from the boxes/hospitality area until the work was paid for. as well as creating something there isnt for 70 miles in any direction [ i still dont think there is ] a Casino

so, the general feeling is that they are keeping hold of the club until they die?

Either that or get rid of the Trust's controlling stake and then sell.

I always said it should've been pulled down along with the Waterworks after the 2005 flood.

Ridiculous after another flood we're so short sighted that we simply do it up again!

I'm not sure which is worse, Nixon's interview or England's attempt to break down 10-man Portugal tonight.

The admission about googling wealth of supposed foreign investor made me laugh, what happened to their due diligence and lawyers looking at the validity of potential investment!!

Nixon's biggest mistake has been the lack of communication, the silence has seen any support for the three amigos evaporate. Having said that at least he had the balls to try to defend their 'strategy' - can they get Steve Patt on next for a vintage radio comedy hour

I think there is a lot if not the majority of supporters that are perfectly happy the club is where we are so why keep complaining. Surely you should be happier watching League 2 at no 10 in league than being relegated.
The board and KC have been able to survive in a very difficult market and still give Carlisle United the ability to prosper. My view is quite simple I think a lot of you are expecting far too much to quickly.
Lets get some support for KC and players and let the Directors sort out the backroom.I do not know J/N or A/J but I am a long term supporter .When I lived in the area 45 years ago I went to all the reserve matches never mind the home and away matches and I am certain that in todays climate Carlisle United are a well managed club
Whatever you thinkof the BOD they have to manage the finances and the club. We have to go and enjoy the day..

It's not that many years ago that I was happy watching us at the top end of league one and actually being close to making the championship, what happened just after that Shaldon? ooh what was it? Oh that's it, the four amigos took over! and then there were three! Look where we are now!
