I never expected to see any money returned from my proposal-it was going in a long term equity. If we got money back,it meant we were successful which is what we all want.

Most guys simply want to do their bit for the Club and community-a bit like buying a brick in the Stadium of Light with your name on it.

The model i support has always included patrons and businessmen like yourself to believe that a group of fans could do it on their own without would be plain stupid and very naive.

The only real difference from what you proposed is that they dont actually own the assets the fans and community do that but they also dont have to risk or tie up their own money and would in most cases just be willing to pay a premium on top of what they would put into the club each year in advertising and sponsorship packages but the real benefit to the arrangement is their business acumen and contacts and most importantly their support at the start of the process.

Absolutely! but you don't just down tools and its not like they never got paid at all, take Morecambe.

You don't need to be Sherlock to know they were issues after December, the effort was atrocious but i guess we know why.

But if this was as bad as people are saying i.m sure one of the players would of brought the PFA in.

So, I decided to have a look myself for the sake of a tenner.

This is maybe a bit easier to read:

Easy to miss the second as it's got the company name slightly wrong.

Anyway, £2.5 in Nov and 17.5 in Jan is disconcerting........Also, blows my mind that that 700 quid is 4 year old.

In December monthly payments to players/staff were paid but not the agreed yearly bonuses as these were delayed due to cash flow problems. It's no surprise this coincided with a loss of form, it's why I was so pissed off with the players but hey ho.

In March the club were up shit creek. No billionaire and enough ccjs to wall paper the east stand. We were bankrupt hence the panic call to EWM.

That was it for the three then no more power. It's just a matter of time to EWM get the power as they won't accept this. I'd expect something 1st July the turn of the new clubs financial year.

The noise from the club is positive and no mention of this. With the trust having 2 board members they should tell us more but they will have to play the clubs hand.

Seems to be a hell of a lot of different bonuses Match Bonuses League Position Bonuses Weekly Bonuses Monthly Bonuses Yearly Bonuses Promotion Bonuses in fact i wonder if we actually pay them any basic wages ?

I read a couple of years ago that Carlisle was ranked 4th in the UK for multi millionaires per head of population (think it was min of £10m). Only London, Edinburgh & Bath ranked higher.

Assuming that this is true, doesn't mean that these (still very few in number) multi-millionaires are necessarily football fans though. Stobart and Bird for example are into motor sport in a big way and Day and Storey more keen on rugby.

Seems to all stack up.

2 CCJs across 3 years and 2 months.

Then 3 CCJs in 4 months from December 2016 to March 2017, and then in comes the loan/overdraft from EWM because we clearly can't pay the bills.

The players shouldn't worry too much about wages as am sure the FA or whoever cover this but am not sure if that stretches to unpaid bonuses or not, only then would the players kick up.

Once it gets out though that you aren't paying players then everyone who you owe money to panics and demands payment and it snowballs.

I hope that they cleared all these debts immediately (if they are genuine) after getting the EWM money or they are totally taking the piss.

Didn't Laffy have a good look at the books a couple of years ago and state that they were fine?

The club is substanable, unlike most club's when the crowds fall we don't have any other revenue to fall back on. We can't afford to upgrade the stadium but we cants afford not to sadly it's catch 22.

The books were clean about 2 years ago but a lot of water has passed under the bridge-and above it with the floods

I wonder if the floods had something to do with the deterioration-maybe the settled claim being less than expected.

Whatever,it looks like they ran out of cash in Feb/March and needed a lifeline but who knows given the lack of clarity

It's the lack of transparency that does my fekking swede in..

If they just come out and said look we are struggling we are looking for investment or someone to take over or if Jenkins said I have turned the money off they would have a little more credit from me just seems heads are stuck in sand and can't see the big huge clusterfuk on the horizon or don't care..

If we can't have it nobody can seems the ideology

There you go I need to change my strides now...

But to give transparency would show the cracks and complete disarray that the club is ran like everything that is coming out at the moment.

Jenkins doesn't want to fail but now shows that he has and just doesn't want to admit it.

Picture in your head the end of the film Carry On Up the Khyber and you have it in a nutshell, Dave Allen to his credit can be Peter Butterworth.

Jenkins is a bit selfish really, wouldn't sell the club when he had the opportunity and would rather see it crash and burn.

Those two games against Liverpool sides made them think that they could do it on their own and it would happen every season.

He will forever be a laughing stock now after the pizza fiasco.

At least if the bloke had real money there might be thin and crispy pizza available at half time.

It wasnt aimed at you Mashie more the 1500 idiots who cant see past the end of their own noses and put saving themselves a few quid above the much greater good of getting rid of Jenkins and co.

No body is saying you should stop watching the team thats a personal decision you have to make just dont contribute to giving them half a million quid to make their lives easier every summer.

Ive made mine and and theyre never getting another penny of my cash but i guess some people just have more backbone than others.

I.m just very carefull how i buy my tickets to avoid giving them even the the 5% but that certainly didnt stop me following the team to Devon twice in fortnight.

But looks like this season theyve managed to fu ck things up all by themselves with their idiotic new pricing system which will bring in less money than before despite managing to con even more people into the season ticket sham.
