So glad to see TAH back in the team and Grainger pushed out to the left instead of Brough and Miller used in his natural position.

It took the massive threat of relegation last year to shake the BoD out of their apathy and think about the AL deal - frankly I think I'd take relegation to get rid of them...

Poor first half. Kennedy woodwork effort about the only chance we've had. Don't look like scoring really, formation is all wrong.

Dicker needs go come off, too slow both with and without the ball. As with CMW some folk seem to think he is the answer to the teams problems, he clearly isn't however.

3 from 12 need to spend some money on defenders. Potts/Dempsey give us a capable centre half at least.

A contrast to last season when we went 20 odd games without a draw. Are they still trying to play football on the ground?

Never 5900 there again today. They were there for the taking 2nd half after the change in shape and bit of width. Why Brough instead of Balanta though? Tactics/formation cost us 2 points again today.

Its the opposite to the Knighton years - they are making our crowds bigger than they are. 1500 season ticket holders? Could be double counting - which would make a real crowd of 4,400 which is what I would have expected.

A lot more direct today but didnt really get too much out of it, Elliott had a good game up front for them, Raynes/TAH battled away. Grainger a liability.

Mcqueen should have been on 10 mins earlier i thought, while agree that Brough was a waste of space when he came on.

The less said about Kennedy playing on the left 1st half the better.....

Awful decision to play Kennedy there. We looked far better and more balanced when Dicker came off and Kennedy moved into the centre with Brough on the left, even tho Broigh's end product was dire.

Grainger was the weak link in that back line. Troy and Raynes were solid together. We need to either revert to a back 4 with Troy and Raynes as CBs, or sign a better left CB to play a back 3, at least while Atkinson is out.

Why is Grainger captain? He's been useless overtime I've seen him. I'd have him on the transfer list.

I think I must be the only one that enjoyed the game

Grainger pretends to be an effective defender, body language is very good, but the opposition must love playing against him. When you've seen proper left backs like we've had over the years like Terry Caldwell, John Gorman and Tom Cowans this lad is tactically a liability.

Fell over at least twice against Plymouth, allowed the attackers acres of space and tended to be yards away from any Plymouth forward.

Need to get rid.

Curle is slightly disappointed well blow me down. Work in progress yeah all the way to relegation.

I think we've got to realise we are not AC Milan. We are Carlisle. It was a tough game and we battled gard for a point.

What I dont fathom is going back to square pegs in round holes. Kennedy was lost out wide. We had no natural left sided width at all. Looked much better when Dicker went off (would have taken Joyce off personally but KC decision got the result).

Not the disaster it appears some would see it as and maybe some people need to get a grasp of where we are and what we are currently capable of.

Sticking Kennedy on the left instead of either Brough or McQueen when Curle kept saying about round pegs in round holes is slightly baffling. Besides that I wouldn't argue too much with the team, plenty of new players so the team will take a bit of time to get going as Raynes alluded to in his interview. Just a shame we're probably going to get stuffed by QPR in a few days which will make things look a lot worse than they probably are.

Idiotic formation with no recognised wide left player. Joyce looked totally at sea trying to play that role.I though KC had reverted to a back 4 when I saw the line up on this thread. Mind you it wasn't much better when Brough came on. Miller wants to learn to pass the ball forwards instead of sideways and backwards. Joyce and Grainger are liabilities. Would have given Troy MoM not Raynes.

Poor game overall today. Grainger looked suspect on a couple of occasions and i really don't know how Raynes got MoTM, he let their man go for their goal and didn't exactly put in a great performance in my opinion. Miller was also poor, Troy was solid. Kennedy as LWB didn't work, Joyce was poor, Dicker was the best of the 4 in midfield (and got taken off for some unknown reason). Hery improved towards the end but always tries to do a bit too much. Asamoah ran the channels well, Jabo was kept very quiet by Osborne for the most part but took his goal well. Wyke did alright when he came on, McQueen and especially Brough were both poor, McQueen tried to do too much and Brough's crosses were appalling.

We need to get a win from somewhere, and soon.

1st half the way we set up we had no one in the centre as a way to pass the ball out of the back which is the way curle wants to play.

Usually ended up with grainger to pump forward.
Not a big fan of dicker, needs too much time on the ball, Kennedy shouldn't play on the wing. This led to Joyce picking the ball up in his own half all the time.

Wimbledon wernt great, Elliot up front caused a lot of problems and their centre back had jabo manarked most of the game.

Not going to moan about a point and it is work in progress with curles idea of passing football and it was nice to see troy back although he looked shattered at half time.

Was looking forward to today after the Chesterfield game and missing last week but left disappointed. Best word to sum up today was disjointed.

Not sure the players fully understood the formation today, the whole shape of the team was totally wrong, Curle's over-complicating things in my mind.

Playing Joyce, Kennedy and Dicker at home isn't constructive to getting a result, far too cautious. Joyce and Dicker offered nothing first half and were far too deep not getting involved in play and not taking the ball off the centre halfs in an attacking position, as a result Hery didn't see a lot of the ball. McQueen a far better option as wing back than either used today.

Thought Miller was lucky too stay on the pitch after an awful foul second half. These are exactly the games we need to win if we have any designs on a top half finish this season.

Thought we played some really decent stuff at times today! Troy brought leadership and common sense today... He knows when to keep it neat and tidy, when to just get rid and when to knock it long, a couple of great balls down the channel and kept Raynes and Miller right!

Raynes is horrible! Backs off and lucky Akinfenwa's weighs 44 clem because right at the end he allowed him to waddle about 30 yards straight to the edge of our box before Joyce put in a decent challenge! He doesn't attack anything instead chooses to retreat... Wins very little aerially and was edgy theoughout! No conviction in his play whatsoever!

Brough was woeful again... Shanked two crosses straight out of play when he had time for a sh*t shag and shave, first touch straight out of play, hid to be honest... No concept of creating an angle to receive a pass! Was so bad Hery refused to pass to him at one point instead wagging a finger in his direction!

Plus points Joyce was solid in the tackle and with his distribution... Hery lively and never hides, complete opposite to Brough! Ibehre was poor today but grafted hard and scored a good goal so well played, Wyke looked astrong coming off the bench so did McQueen... Miller was very good as well!

Curle?!!! Again I was an advocate but in the last two games he's played Osei Kennedy & Balanta as wing backs! Not one of those three are wingbacks! To make this work he has to stop putting players out of position Kennedy was exposed badly and with Grainger behind him we looked weak and this is where their goal came from... Back to Raynes, luckily for him his inept performances are only slightly being masked by the fact when we're defending we defend with 5! When he has to man mark he'll be completely exposed and that worries me massively!

As most thought today was average.
Couldn't understand why Brough was brought on. When he had chances to cross it was unbelievably poor and did not seem either interested or to have any fight in him at all. Grainger made the usual mistakes but at least he puts the effort in and some decent balls into the box. I think whoever plays left midfield or w/b has got to be capable of helping out at the back or we will get hammered down that side all season (unless Grainger gets injured!!)
