The next CUSG Meeting is scheduled for next Monday (6th Sept).
This is a reminder that we will not be attending, having tendered our resignation from the Group recently.
If you have any Questions you would like raised via the Meeting, you are advised to email them in to the CUSG email address - Hello@cusg.co.uk
By all means post on here the Question’s you’re sending in, for discussion etc, but please note we won’t be sending them in for you!
We’ll still operate a Thread for these Meetings, as people like to discuss the information that comes out from them.

The trust are having a virtual members meeting next week. I vowed I wouldn’t even give them the pleasure of my £10 this season, they made it clear there’ll supposedly answer questions directly from supporters so I’ll do that without joining and wasting hours of my time of their waffle.

The Trust talk a lot about how they apparently support diversity but they don't actually seem to be doing anything tangible about it. I think it's completely reasonable to question their sincerity.
At the meeting did CUOSC mention anything about implementing equality monitoring? Surely the first thing an organization that "champions diversity" would be doing is finding out how diverse their own organization is.
If they won't bring in equality monitoring, then perhaps they are not as committed to diversity as they say?

It was a good meeting tonight apparently and covered a lot, tweet by Simon I presume.

For the record, no Mods from this site were present at the Meeting. Assuming this is a typo from Mullen?
I found it funny that they were tweets from the SLO saying how good the meeting was last night when there’s never been a tweet in any of the previous meetings.
Therefore I said tongue in cheek that the meetings where the mods went to cast have been very good 😌
So if a few fans post questions on here and Mullen collates and sends it all to CUSG as "Questions From The Forum" will they all be answered?

I have replied asking for the latest on questions, I’ll post a reply if I get one.
@Kess I’m happy to collate and manage as the mods did (a very good job) but I’ve no intention of going to the meeting as it’ll frustrate me. Wait and see if there’s a decision on it moving forward and if that decision is reverting back to previous than that’s really disappointing and agree with what CCU says on it and I’ll put in a proposal of myself collating/managing and distributing.

Yes, a revised process has been agreed and is explained in the minutes. CUSG member groups and the club will take questions direct from fans and include issues raised as part of wider communications.
Still doesn’t explain if it’ll be one email address or supporters have to go to each group or how it works, I guess the minutes may explain but I’ve gone back to ask anyway.
My follow up: That’s fine cheers - is there to be a centralised way of asking as per how the messageboard mods did it such as one email address for all or do supporters have to contact each one separately as suggested in the email myself and others received thanks

If they actually did care about diversity you could at least applaud them for that. But pretending to care about it so they can look good and also avoid talking about other things isn't right in my view.
Don’t the trust think that of ALL the things they do they should as an absolute priority look into the complete debacle of the fans being unable to see the start of games due to the repeated problem of ticketing problems.
This is right down the trusts street but as usual nothing has been mentioned. To my mind this just shows they would rather interfere in the running of the club than help the fans.

As I mentioned before I used to email the groups questions prior to the messsgeboard asking them through cusg and apart from the club received no answers.
Through cusg I did get answers most of the time, to no longer have this option is disappointing.
