When we were hawking about for a new manager to replace Curle - absolutely every person was scrutinized in the directors box, apart from Kavanagh, I remember JP dismissing his presence straight away as a replacement to Curle

Anyone Else Heard McCarron to Leeds rumour?
Suggested fee £300K with £200K after 10 apps. Also loan back.
Can't see any semblence of truth in it, as not sure he has made any impact has he? Not sure why they would loan him back.
Far more likely to be a crude attempt to generate interest in him by DH.

If he’s worth 250k now after a few starts and a number of sub appearances, how much could he be worth with another season or half season and maybe some goals under his belt.
This is about how short sighted or not the club are. I suspect they will cash in if an offer of 6 figures comes in, but perhaps they should wait for the right time like as mentioned above Exeter do.

Our record transfer fee received is still the £1.5m for Matt Jansen. Admittedly we haven't had any young players with his levels of potential since then, transfer fees have inflated massively, but £1.5m is still our record. Seems plenty of clubs around our level receive a lot more than we do for young starlets...

Didn't Knighton pocket most of the Jansen fee 'allegedly'. I seem to remember most of the contracted players at the time were owned by him and not the club.
