I'm not joining the Trust, be it under the Unita Fortior umbrella or otherwise. As far as I'm concerned it's a dysfunctional organisation.
Those Trust members who sit on the BoD should have pushed the owners for clarity about the long term strategy of the club. They should have raised concerns about the deterioration of results on the pitch year on year, strategic decisions such as the link up with Purepay should have been questioned and the admittance of a former owner to watch a match from the directors' box should have been condemned, given that the Trust was formed in response to his ownership.
The Trust was set up to ruffle feathers in the boardroom and to ensure that past mistakes were not repeated, not to become part of the establishment.

Of course it’s a dysfunctional organisation, none of us are denying that. This is why UF emerged, in order to facilitate change. Sign up, have a say, have a vote and help change it from a dysfunctional organisation to one which can truly represent the fans and hold those in the boardroom to account.

Hi all,
The latest CUOSC briefing email suggests a members meeting will be held on Thurs 24th Feb, with a venue and time TBC.
We would hope to see as many of you as possible attend, and also hope the meeting is streamed for those further afield!

I note it’s a member’s meeting.
My thoughts are it would be a good time to make it an open meeting for all.
Allow non members to attend or view online and create an opportunity for cuosc to sell themselves and generate further membership.
The Meeting cancelled in Dec was due to be before the Bradford game.
The sensible option would be to make it prior to the next Sat Home game (Northampton on 12th March, Swindon next week a bit short notice?)…

I’d normally be all for a meeting, but my enthusiasm has gone down massively the last few days because I think it’s far too late to make any difference whatsoever to anything and the club heading to non league.
It’s ok, now, having a meeting and to use it to have a go at the trust etc but I think the time to make a change was years ago, not now when the club is heading for non league.
Just my pennies worth and my opinion but I think the club is heading down without much of a fight and in the end the meeting will be a waste of time.

What about the conflict with the food bank and whist drive?
I love a whist drive - that’d get me in.
Before a game surely , apart from anything else many folk who might attend don't actually live in town and also have work and family commitments too .
So if the CUOSC Meeting was before the match,where would would this Meeting be held. Answers welcomed.
Why can't the trust hold meetings midweek and also before a match?
Surely that's the answer.
Hold a midweek meeting for those who don't want to change their pre-match routine.
Hold a meeting on a matchday for those who can't make it midweek, for whatever reason.
Whatever choice you make you're excluding some members, so why not have both and include everyone?

Hold it 12:00-13:30 in the Sunset Suite? Club gets a few extra pennies in the coffers too! As a part owner, surely the Trust can ask?!

As substantial part owner I agree why ever not would the club refuse and as CCU suggests monies into the club and not such as the rugby club or other venue.
Unless flumeblue knows something different.
