Sorry, I can’t believe a word of that yarn.

What possible reason for not announcing these alleged ‘deals’? What are they, verbal contracts?

Go on Dave, or Nigel, or whomever else is reading this at the club... give us something we can use to test the truth of this claim. What positions do these ‘signings’ play? How old are they? Height? Where did they come from? What nationality?

Give us some info, if you’re not just kicking the can down the road.

In the past players generally just moved on and that was that.

Now we have players rubbishing the deals and other players signing for clubs with what you would imagine have less spending power.

Then you have Holdsworth slagging off players who reject the paltry contracts with insulting remarks.

Holdsworth needs to stop disrespecting these footballers by playing games over contracts, as said - just release them and stop pretending that popular players might be here next term when in reality most clubs from the tier below could probably better the deals offered.

Nonsense, Beech picks the targets while Holdsworth deals with the financial side and agents. So if your basing it off the players we brought in that’s down to who Beech selects as targets. Zanzala showed more ability than any other of our strikers in the last two seasons.

I took the "we are waiting to announce some exciting deals when the time is right for all parties" to be about new signings, but it actually seems as if he is talking about the offers made to the existing players (there are only three left) as he then goes on to say we have made an offer to a prem player and a Scottish player. Or maybe all are just a bit thick and rambling on.
Just looks deliberately obtrusive to hide the fact that the main striker has f'd off due to his incompetence.

If the deals are done (presuming they’re the same ones he was claiming were done but couldn’t be announced yet), why can’t they be announced? Can’t see any reason for holding back on them…

Think it was mentioned that with possible Loanees that Parent Clubs like to have them in for a couple weeks to check them over before letting them go out?

Assume it’s for various tests then they can compare with any data we record on them over time…

Oh no - professional footballers are making excessive wage demands, this as never happened in football so I am glad that we have Holdsworth to sort it out for us!
