There's a reserve game right now between Rotherham and Mansfield. He's not in the squad. You'd think if they wanted to keep him, they'd give him a run in that game? Or am I just optimistically clutching at straws?

We’ll see what happens in terms of Rotherham bringing in new players. Say they bring in a couple of forwards then maybe we stand a chance. Either way I doubt we’ll know whether we can get him back till very late on in the month. Just hope we have contingency plans that we can immediately turn to if we do fail to get him back. It would be the most CUFC thing ever to wait and wait then end up with no one come 1st of Feb

Money talks and because we 'potentially' have loads - especially for quality like Nadesan, the club haven't flexed that financial muscle hard enough.

I don't see why they cannot see it themselves and invest in these players that we know can perform, probably cost a bit more now but these are players that we can utilise for years to come and perhaps sell on if they over-perform.

Any more rag-tag cobbled together stuff like on Saturday against Northampton and we will plummet - we can hardly blame the current management set up for this as they provided a great win against Mansfield then some players buggered off and they were not provided with replacements by our director of football or whatever he is.

Where is the new manager by the way and he will need to be quick just like Sheridan had to do.

The new bloke better have another 'Gerrard' style signing in his pocket or he will probably be toast fairly quickly.

The club are cutting the wage bill again next season, the players out of contract will not sign for us in the summer, unless they are desperate. We will bring in the cheapest players around & get relegated, FFS the new manager is only on contract till the end of the season will a chance of extending.

The club is dying on its arse & the "custodians" are doing nothing to stop it but get further into debt with EWMs money.

We saw very similar posts at this point last season and we're currently sitting in 6th.

Get a grip man. Why would they want to be relegated ?

Relegation would massively reduce our already small revenues so would only increase the deficit the club runs at.

They cut the budget we got better on the pitch to the point where people are now saying we could get promoted. The club appears better run financially and we are not signing dross like Cole Stockton. And you don't know the budget will be cut again next season, you have just made that up..

I spoke to Steve prat when we got relegated to league 2 and he told me the club is more secure the top end of league 2 than it is at the bottom end of league 1.

As for Yates we could of had him weeks ago if we coughed up.

That’s how I see them as well. I think being a comfortable little league 2 team suits them and as long as that’s what we are they’ll think “ah we’re doing alright.”

A club in league 2 will have a lower cost base than one in league 1, especially when our crowds probably wouldn't increase enough the increased costs of sustaining a club in that league.

You can't criticise the owners for lying to you and then do the same when they tell the truth.

If by some miracle we do get promoted then it will be interesting, as we all know they will have to increase the budget to even survive in the higher league.

Last but one fans forum! I had a hissy fit at Mr Prat for not answering the question of how much money he's put in the club and how he benefits the club being on the holdings board and if he calls Mr Lapping "Not having a pot to piss in" he must be loaded and should put some money in. He then said he created the youth league, he didn't entirely and went off the question. That's why i shouted at him as he went off the question.

I'm not doubting Mr Prats answer that the club under these owners would be more financially viable for them the top end of league 2 than league 1.

However they need to ask themselves why that is? why have we lost nearly 2000+ supporters from the last time we were in league 2. Does it not show a lack of vision/structure that you can't sustain a team in the lower reaches of league 1.

I was in the club shop on Friday 11.30 am a car drove out of B.P with Reg J5 JERRY , first thought was is Jerry Yates up here signing ?. Is Yates the the player D H referred to on Friday ? .

It would of been Jerry 'the Saint' St. Clair.

He's only getting brought on as a sub for 10 mins - hopefully Rotherham will sign and striker and we can get him back on a contract
