I said I wouldn’t start any, what I’ve said been said by others on here that were [censored] and have no money!
As for Yates, I believe we couldn’t afford the wage increase now until we offload.

I don’t think we could afford him....yet. If we had everything agreed financially why wasn’t signed and sealed or was it because of this special relationship with Rotherham we agreed to delay and send him back.
As CCU says if he played for Rotherham the only club he could play for again would be us. So not surprised he didn’t come on and especially as they won.
Would I be surprised if he cane back? No but we’d have to pay far more than the first half of the season for him.

Oh pie, pie, pie, pie and pie
I got two things horrendously wrong yes but....
When I mentioned Laffy getting involved. Was told it was shite.
When I mentioned EWM/DAY loaning the club money as we were in the shit. Was told it was shite.
When I mentioned EWM took over/effectively running things. Was told it was shite.
There’s others too, but as I say you get remembered for your failures.
And yes while we’re at it on the football side about Stockton and Cosgrove. Again told i was talking shite, stats prove otherwise.
But the teams doing well concentrate on that.

You also said on here after the FA cup exit that the season was over before January. Turned out to be a load of nonsense that didn’t it?

Well you never clearly state anything you make a vague comment and then use anything and claim it was related to that ,your technique is more throwing sh?t against the fan hoping some will stick. yes you do get a lot right but you also get a lot wrong.Mullen103 wrote: Do you really believe this nonsense from Holdworth of this special relationship with Rotherham. He was certain of getting he’s man a few days ago then suddenly changed he’s tune.
Rotherham aren’t bothered about a relationship with us they are bothered about themself and getting the best deal for them.
A couple a weeks ago they wouldn’t of been bothered about loaning us Yates but because he’s scoring and integral to us they probably thought they could get a better deal on wages or even sell him to someone else.
It’s just game playing and you can scour the internet and see Rotherham are good at it.
Anyway didn’t need him today.

This makes me believe the official view as I’m sure Rotherham wouldn’t want Yeats cup tied if they had any intention of recalling him unless they had a emergency situation Fleetwood didn’t want Nadesan cup tied not only he could play for them but is worth a few more quid if he’s not cup tied if he are going to sell himCCU wrote: Have a job, he’s Cup-Tied, having played for us at Crewe and Lincoln...

Could have him tomorrow if we pay what Rotherham want.
Rotherham’s struggling big time financially, losing a lot of money. Their owners main aim is to stop it at all costs so any penny pinching is a bonus. Yates isn’t likely in their managers plans, albeit yes their struggling, but Rotherham’s main aim is money/saving money. Give them what they want and we have him regardless.

Can't be, Mullen says they are skint and only interested in cutting costs, and he's never wrong.
