I saw it the other way Laffy. Truss did the typical politician thing of answering a different question and going on and on quite repetitively to prevent Ms K asking more questions. It was a Q&A - she has to be asked questions. And even some of those had to be repetitive because Truss wouldn’t answer them.
Well to her credit she took the hit but laid it on to her Chancellor.

The Conservative party chair has defended the chancellor, Kwasi Kwarteng, and said that people who attended a private champagne reception with him on the day he delivered his mini-budget should be “lauded” as Britain’s leading entrepreneurs.
Jake Berry said the drinks reception was not unusual and that along with hedge fund managers, property developers had also been present.
He said: “These people should be lauded because we don’t have public funding of political parties and these are people who go out and make money and donate to political parties,” he told Sky News’ Sophy Ridge on Sunday.
“It wasn’t a get-together of hedge fund managers, it was Britain’s leading entrepreneurs. Yes, I was there, but it’s the normal drumbeat of treasurer’s events that we have all the time.”
Taking the piss seems to be the way for the Tories. Champagne, wine and cocktails were quafffed by the Chancellor and the Party chairman.

Once again Laffys trots out "it's a global problem" for the Tories incompetence but regularly declares the 2008 global financial crisis to be Labour's fault
Talk of ditching Truss by Xmas would turn our politics into an utter farce.
