Wouldnt surprise me if he created "fake proof" that it was hacked? I.e mock up a screen print of an email from Twitter "confirming" that his account was breached and they are looking into it further blah blah.

Easy enough to do. I think that will be the next card he plays.

It would be totally unbelievable for a club to just fob this off with a blatant lie.... Except at Carlisle.... I personally thought something might have happened this time... But still the statement hasn't surprised me in the slightest

I have just filled out the form and opened a case to request my account information on Twitter.

Absolutely pathetic from the club. Thinking supporters are stupid enough to swallow this sh*te. They hate us. If they cared a jot for us or the image of the club they would be cutting all ties with him until legitimate proof was received that it wasn't him.

Until I see someone found guilty in court of hacking his account I will never believe him.

It would be very interesting if one of the national newspapers just decided to have a little sniff around now they've seen this despicable individual connected to our club. It might actually be worth their while to have a little look and see what else has gone on here. It might seem to be a coincidence to them that social media accounts for two directors have been hacked in such a short space of time. It might be of interest to them that Bell instigated the whole billionaire lie. They might even find stuff about how Claire was treated and the contempt the owners hold the rest of us in.

Maybe, even though what he has done is an utter disgrace, if some decent news reporter gets a grip of it, he might end up having done us all a favour.

So what is he saying?????

In that Mail article headline he's referred to as Carlisle 'chief' and 'chairman'.

Could open a right can of worms if a journo looked on here with how folk talk about Scousers, screenshots the lot!

When your password is compromised it's usually the case that loads of spam links are posted automatically from your account or directly to other contacts rather than someone actually doing what's been done. What a shocking embarrassment to bring on the club.

If you go to Settings -> Your Twitter Data, it shows a history of logins, including the device type, the date/time, and the IP address, plus country. That would have been the first place to start. Don't suppose it's so easy now the account has been deleted.

THEBIGBLUE/NORTHERNSOUL apparently had his CUFC Online account hacked eleven years ago after the first floods when that account posted a derogatory comment about an old woman, so he should be able to give an expert opinion on it.

If our owners had anything about them, they'd be carrying out a full investigation as we speak. Oh I forgot, they need mugs like Andy Bell's cash to help fund their sad existence.

The whole thing is a very sorry affair. The resignation of Claire, the attitude of the Chairman, the ' hacked twitter account(s), the damage limitation. Imagine what it must be like to work for these people.

One thing is for sure, despite what people say in public, this is terribly de-motivating, be prepared for resignations from other staff members as there cringe-worthy employer sinks to new depths.

However, they do say innocent until proven guilty, so we await the proof either way.
