Bell has released a statement, via BBC Cumbria Sport on twitter. I am on my phone so can't post it, but in a nutshell, he reminds us all that he's given a lot of money to the club, and that deleting his twitter account is about as far a punishment as this needs.
This is just it! How arrogant can someone be! I've thrown some money at a club therefore whilst representing it I can say what I want! Keep your money 96 people died! 96! someone said he should donate £9,600! That'll do nothing the damage has been done! His actions are disgraceful! He is a disgraceful human being! The sad thing is I always wait for some controversy when something big like this happens.... I remember someone stupidly making a "joke" about Derek Bird very soon after what had happened but to her this from someone like Bell in a position he's in is utterly despicable!
I'm so disillusioned supporting this club and I try and try every week to remember falling in love with the game at Brunton Park but now I couldn't give a sh1t! And that's awful to say but the clubs an absolute joke..... One thing after another. I will never introduce my son to this disgraceful outfit until they've left! By the way Mr Bell there were children killed that day younger than my own! F*cking idiot!
