KC can put a team together to attack his weakness has always been in defence which is strange considering he was an international defender himself. It worries me that he continues to play the same players in the same positions when it clearly doesn't work. Either very stubborn or just doesn't know how to change it. Either way we need to something to get back on track or the season could fade away.

How about overloading Phil King and getting a decent LB in? 2k a week for an office boy who's done nothing apart from sticking a Newcastle board on the warwick, introduced shit beer into the east stand and a little play area?

I'm not sure that one is entirely a legimate reason as there a number of ways 'turnover' is inflated by sundry types of revenue e.g. Sponsorship.

Transfer fees are excluded from the calculation.

We do pay higher than average wages-historically so too.

On my way home from the game so not heard KC's interview. For me there were positives from today despite result.

We controlled midfield, with Devitt impressive in a central role, and we created plenty of chances. On another day we could have had four or five.

Yes we were soft in central defence but I'm sure KC is trying to strengthen there.

We haven't become a bad side overnight- stay positive Blues fans!

The Sporting Life web-site shows Carlisle United as having 58% possession today.

It really should not have been possible to concede 4 goals, and score only 1!

Our defending and teamwork at times must have been either s*ite or desperately unlucky.

As we keep doing it, it must therefore have been s*ite.

Next game could be interesting, the rot needs to be stopped - 7 goals conceded in 2 games is hardly promotion form.

No we havent. Weve been getting gradually worse since we beat Mansfield 5-2 in November with maybe 1 or 2 bright spots. Last 4 games we should have been well beaten by Crewe, Notts County were the worst team ive seen in a long time and we struggled to beat them then 7 goals conceded in the last 2 games. We definitely havent become bad overnight.

Not forgetting that we were no better than Mansfield in the first half of that game.

When did we last have a regular commentator who was a fan of the club? Lacey was a Arsenal fan, no idea who Nick Barnes supported but prob not us and i cant remember who was before him.

You definitely havnt why the hell they dont just bin him and give the job to Andy Wood who is a miles better commentator and who has a much better interaction with the summarisers than Phillips and more importantly is actually a supporter of the club he would be covering and not of one hundreds of miles away.

When did we last have a regular commentator who was a fan of the club? Lacey was a Arsenal fan, no idea who Nick Barnes supported but prob not us and i cant remember who was before him.

It was obvious that when we lost Granger and Jones it would cause a problem. Really can't believe we didn't call back Brough and Atkinson ,both had games under their belt to step in even if it was until we got repacements or new players.

What difference does it make if he's a fan or not? He's there to do a job, similar to what the players are there to do and most of them aren't fans. For what it's worth I think he's pretty good in what I would imagine is a pretty tough job. His interview with Curle was quite good after today's game, some decent questions which Curle tried to dodge and turn around on him, poor from KC really. It's okay for Curle to slam him for being negative but on the back of four poorish performances and a defence which seems to be getting worse by the week it's hard not to be negative.

Bloody sure he wouldnt hed been down at Pride Park or Radio Derby licking arses to get himself a job.

So whats the point in trying to rile Curle if youre gonna back down the minute Curle shows a bit of Spunk or in just asking the same question over and over i was taught you ask it three times and then move on and ask another equally probing but totally unrelated one to illicit the most dramatic response which is what he gets paid for.

Good example is Andrew Neil he asks some great sarcastic questions designed to do nothing other than wind the interviewee up but when he goes on and on repeating the same question over and over again all it does is piss the viewer off and show that Neils not half as clever as he thinks that he is.

KC asnwered his early negative questions as well as he could, stating the defensive record was diabolical. Answered ANOTHER question about the budget. so it wasn't an awful interview. Think some were expecting him to come out with an post accrington style (which he got hammered for as well) presser today.

Andrew Neil certainly doesn't piss me off when I'm viewing. Think it's great he keeps asking the same question over and over again as it shows the politician obviously isn't answering the question and shows them up. Easily the best interviewer on TV.

Phillips certainly didn't back down with Curle, I expected him to but he stuck to his guns and reiterated his question when Curle got arsey. Maybe it's just the fact you hate all things Carlisle United is the reason you dislike Phillips, if Andy Wood did ever get the RC matchday job you'd probably start to hate him aswell.

Who taught you to ask the question three times and then move on btw and in what context were they teaching you?
