Andrew Neil certainly doesn't piss me off when I'm viewing. Think it's great he keeps asking the same question over and over again as it shows the politician obviously isn't answering the question and shows them up. Easily the best interviewer on TV.
Phillips certainly didn't back down with Curle, I expected him to but he stuck to his guns and reiterated his question when Curle got arsey. Maybe it's just the fact you hate all things Carlisle United is the reason you dislike Phillips, if Andy Wood did ever get the RC matchday job you'd probably start to hate him aswell.
Who taught you to ask the question three times and then move on btw and in what context were they teaching you?
Of course he backed down when it was pretty clear he wasnt going to either get an answer or Curle wasnt going to storm off or spit his dummy out he brought the interveiw to an end before Curle took him to the cleaners
And no i wouldnt hate Andy Wood if he got the job because i know he would do it well and if you listen to his interviews they come across as much more natural than the forced and predictable style of Phillips and of course he wouldnt be trying to climb the greasy BBC pole that Phillips definitely is
A media handling training course that an employer sent all their senior managers on in how to handle being interviewed for tv radio or print media usually at short notice with little time to prepare same course that football clubs send new managers on.
