Another shocking mistimed back header from Brisley. Saved or would have been 4. He's not doing himself or the team any favours. KC's got to try Gillesphey in there now.

Not an unexpected defeat in my book given the teams respective forms going in but looking at the fixtures we have four or five very winnable games coming up to get things back on track.

We had this coming. I was at the Grimsby match and Gillesphey is not a left back. Is he any good at centre back? We need a left back ASAP or we'll not even make the playoffs.

No real surprise really signs have been there for a few games. Let's hope it's just a blip and not the start of a major slump.

Could well be a kick up the backside in the transfer market.

In a bad place now in my eyes. Crowds are fickle at the best of time, and have been poor this season as it is. Be under 4500 next week without a couple of impressive signings.

I am not holding my breath with regard to the transfer period. We need at least three decent signing one of those being a CD. Would like to know why Raynes was not playing supposed to be injured I believe.

Phillips on the radio saying that we've struggled defensively the last three games. We've struggled defensively for months now and we've got away with it because the quality of finishing in this division is awful for the most part. As soon as we played a couple of half decent sides who are actually capable of scoring, we've been on the receiving end of back-to-back pastings. The next few games are 'winnable' and we probably will get some positive results because the teams are crap, but if we carry on as we are, we'll win those games and then get battered by Doncaster, Plymouth, Portsmouth, Blackpool. We've been incredibly lucky to scrape wins in games when we've played abysmally (Exeter a prime example) and unless these issues are resolved in the next couple of weeks, we can forget about going up automatically. As I say, League Two is a really poor division and we've been fortunate so far that we've scraped by without playing well, but we've been well and truly found out now.

That was an ace interview, was a pretty crap question though when he asked KC if this was a defining moment in his Carlisle career, I would have thought that when we went top of the league was a defining moment.

I creased when an irritated KC told JP that he is lucky that he likes him

Nothing wrong with phillips interview there only asking questions!!! Totally defensive of curle and going back on himself. "players need to be ready for startung 11 if they come" well why then have asamoah, Wright and mcqueen been signed as they are no where near ready. Next few games will see what type of manager curle is.

It will probably go towards Jenkins to repay his loans.

The form has been poor for months but missing Mike Jones is really starting to hit hard especially when he was possibly our best player at the time of his injury.

James Philips used the words definitive moment, wrong choice of words, however KC was defensive and his reaction did not impress. The next few games will be definitive possibly with regard to where we are at the end of the season.

After watching his team 'make it easy' for Colchester he was obviously fuming so probably not the time to ask him daft questions and wind him up.

I wouldn't go so far as to say we have been poor but the team has been falling short for a few games now and our firepower has got us through most of them.We badly miss Jones and Grainger.

It's also painfully clear that the tin isn't awash with cash and we could be seeing the pendulum swinging back from AJ contemplating taking money out to actually putting yet more in-a 'dubious' treat for him but ultimately he is the only stakeholder with cash.

The last thing we want however is blind panic-KC seemed relatively relaxed about life and I think the last radio question was down to misinterpretation rather than frustration.
